if you want a player to win a ballon'dor on fifa you have to keep their morale at least at happy and make sure they are happy with performance, play time, contract etc so that they are guaranteed the ballon'dor, also stats are a big thing but the biggest thing of them all is morale and rating, also make sure their average match rating is high like at least 8.0

In my opinion, a huge mistake in this game is that the midfielders and defenders have almost no chance of winning the Ballon d'Or. You can win here with a lot of goals. I've seen videos where the given player may have won a cup (it could have been a domestic league cup) but scored a lot of goals. And he won the Ballon d'Or. So the game does not look at the results, the cups won (e.g. the Champions League, the World Cup), or the great improvement in form, but simply only the amount of goals scored. The situation is even worse for defenders. The game does not deal with the fact that the given team may have received very few goals from others and it was only possible because of the performance of a single player. Cannavaro couldn't win here. Not even if he win the Champions League, the World Cup, if his team wins the championship of his country, and if he can collect other cups. Because he doesn't score goals. Maybe the game will get to the point where it can be won based on other criterias.
