Been a regular listener for several years and love the podcast. I think this episode is one of the best yet in terms of getting into the real deep stuff that holds people back. CJ hit the nail on the head from 37 mins onwards as to why people make less optimal decisions in the short term so thank you for addressing this!

This was for me.. I literally prayed and God sent me this message last night and I had this convo with my wife and apologize for not including her in my process of decision.. and this just released me because my wife is exactly like Deedee and I’m more like ET which is crazy and we both went to Oakwood.. so Thank you for allowing one of your super powers to be vulnerability..🙏🏾🙌🏾

We are all but a product of the decisions we made years ago and we are now seeing the long term effect of such whether good or bad . The great thing is as you guys highlighted it is not too late to turn that around and make better choices for your future and your family’s future. So much information that was said it is not possible to digest all at once 🔥

Thank you so much for this! I needed to hear it. I've been paralyzed by indecision because of the terror of making the wrong decision or change. Hearing it outside of my head and framed in this context has empowered me to take action regardless of the fear. Thank you

For some, we learn the hard way that having the biological father in our lives was more of a detriment than his absence. Learn from it and choose better if you become a parent.

I understand we'll C was saying about temporary disisions based off feelings. For me though it's more about me exercising my good decisions and my discipline. It's like a muscle for me. If I make good decisions and decisions based off of discipline and doing the right thing one time, just once, then I do it again, the next decision is become easier and I become more consistent and this also applies in reverse with poor decisions. Weight is a great example. I think most people know when they're eating poorly but they've likely made several poor decisions and they built a poor decision muscle when it comes to food. This also can be reversed but it is very hard.
@jordoncanada62332 жыл бұрын
I think what C is saying is that everyone has their own battle throughout the day and it’s decisions the keep us from falling deeper into sin or drawing closer to god or watever that thing is your chasing.

I'm a father who gets my child but me and my child not as close a we should. Through no fault of my own. The mother fills my child's head with her hate and distaste for me. I've let bygones be bygones and just want to be in my child life. So the woman can be responsible for things. Making it hard for the father to get or be close to his child. I know from first hand. Regardless of the mother being the sole caregiver. A child must be open to listen whether they be grown or in there youth. Not just think don't use my mother as a scape goat. You must be willing to listen to others truth that are beyond your scope of precieving things. Nothing is always as it seems. I never talk down about my daughters mother to my daughter even tho she does of me. I just pray God open her eyes as to her having a father trying to be there. I could see of how hard it would of been back in the day. With the same circumstances.
