So do the dives logged on the Buddy app somehow cross over to the SSI app? My wife and I log our dives there to show we have required dives for advanced diver and master diver when they come up. After those are logged we won't really be tied to that app if there is something better/easier to work with. Plus the desktop app for the Mares computers work pretty easily with the SSI app too.

Absolutely! I still keep my NAUI one for teaching and doing course director stuff but it’s utilitarian- I actually enjoy and USE the buddy app, and actually like posting and talking about dives with ppl 🤙
