@Jordan.Skates It’s Gregg. Great job on the edit. I’m loving that you been giving a deeper dive into your pros and cons of the skate. Waiting to get back from our getaway weekend to set up and skate my Omni’s. I’m probably gonna do a photo session of them on IG and what I did to customize my pair. Hopefully we can get together and skate soon. Cheers!

Thanks for checking it out! I will also be traveling the next week and will be out of state the following week, but will bring my skates with me. Hope to see your set up soon!

I've found the Blank liner to be a great fit in a number of skates, so not surprised there. You seem confident in this set up. Nice work.

thanks! the blank liners are really nice for the price point

Great video! I'm in CO and just started skating again after like 10 years off...is this Ulysses skate park?!?! That barrell and those mountains look familiar.I've been meaning to get over there.

Good update. I'm still not personally sold on these though the reviews by and large have been positive.
@Jordan.Skates10 ай бұрын
Ya, I'm right there with you. There is a lot of customization on the first run to make them work. Sounds like these issues are going to be addressed in future versions, which is good that they want to take in feedback and make changes.

Those skates looks slick! You grind on the rails like a pro. You are probably a pro, but I don’t watch enough aggressive skates to know any pro names. The commentary was very concise and great review. ❤ I subscribed.

If you're getting the skate and you're an anti-Rocker skater get them boot only. while the skate does come with anti-rocker wheels, the design's main purpose is obviously for flat skating. And there's nothing weirder than putting anti-Rocker wheels on a flat frame when they've been making anti-rocker specific frames for decades, unless you just started skating and you don't know any better. Another well done video and you look a lot more comfortable with the fluid 4s 🤘

ya I would argue that if they were meant to be flat frames, that’s how they would come. Think they are meant to be ridden either set up. ya the 4’s felt real nice! thanks for watching!

Are you going try these with intuitions.. Great skating and great content keep it up 😊
@Jordan.Skates10 ай бұрын
I don't know yet. I don't have a set of intuitions laying around except the ones that come with my FR1 but may throw those in. Right now my focus is breaking them in and seeing if they will work for me in the long run. I had a good session in them yesterday with the set up in the video.

I can see the boot only option being super popular given that most boots charge more for liners and things you don't necessarily need/want. I don't want your stock laces and wheels etc... smart idea on their part. unless they start falling apart or something I'll cop some boots
@Jordan.Skates10 ай бұрын
ya I really wanted to try them stock but ended up boot only 😵💫

I don’t like those skates where I have to change pretty everything to make them work. Your review is the third one I watched where it’s said that the Hblock is too small and the boot creates pressure points. 🤷🏻♂️
@Jordan.Skates10 ай бұрын
Ya kind of defeats the purpose if you are just skating the shell versus the stock skate. You always get some customization, but you are right, I had to swap everything out except the shell to get them to work.
@SquintsPrints10 ай бұрын
Yes, I understand that but it’s also nice for those of us that want to customize the skate. Having worked at a skate shop back in the day I wish we would have had more options to customize skates. Now that we have had some time and been able to progress skating with things like the UFS and other people modding skates, I personally like that Law gave you the options of buying the full skate, boot only, or the shells to make the skate you actually want. More options because every skater is different with style and even in the preferences for how their skate feels. Nothing can really be one size fits all with skating.
@Jordan.Skates10 ай бұрын
@@SquintsPrints That is a good point. Customizable is always a great option for those who want to do it. You shouldn't HAVE to be forced to customize everything just to make a skate ridable though. I know where you are coming from because I like trying different skates, wheels, and frames.

The fluid IV come in 3 sizes and none of them are “160-165”: it’s 246, 258, or 266. Also the standard frames come in 250 or 270. There is no such thing as a 150mm frame…that’s a 6” long frame 😂
@Jordan.Skates10 ай бұрын
If you watched you would have seen that I added a note on the video correcting myself as I misspoke. I don't know why I said 160-165, 150 in the video. The standard frame is 250 which is too short for me. When I said 260 for kizer, I was rounding up the medium because it is essentially 260mm (0.07-inches difference). I also have ridden the Iqon frames (made by Powerslide same as kizer) which come in 264mm. So yes my sweet spot is really 258mm to 264mm if that helps clarify. As an FYI, some skate websites refer to the 258mm as 260mm. Roces RF1 frames are also 264mm.
