Hi Nic and Steve, What can I say…it’s been one of the best motorcycle travel series that I’ve discovered on KZbin. Obviously you both know the story but so much has happened. You shown us some amazing destinations around Australia. Your footage has been magnificent 🎥👍. Your openness and commentary has been a breath of fresh air 🎙😀. A throughly entertaining and educational journey. Give yourselves a very much deserved pat on the back and take a bow. After watching this episode it occurred to me how close we were to crossing paths. My lovely wife and I visited Tamworth during the school holidays. Just a few days before the massive motorcycle rally was being held there. Would’ve loved to have sat back and bought you both a beer and hear your tales of this wonderful adventure 🍺🍺. One more to go 😢… Cheers.

Gee Peter….thanks so much for your comment. We didn’t start out expecting to share in real time, but so glad we did as it has offered us a huge growth opportunity and we a really chuffed to find our journey has been so well received by viewers such as yourself. Really heart warming….we really hope we have a few more adventures to share down the track. All the best, and hope you enjoy the last episode of this series out in a few days, Nic 🍻

That lake crossing on the Newell was interesting. In all my years going up and down the Newell between Vic and QLD, I've never seen water that close to the road. The adventure for us on those roads was just the endurance side of it. Chewing up km after km and spending so much time riding. I'd love to learn to play the didgeridoo. Such a special instrument. We had a meetup in Coonabarabran for the Australian Backroads Motorcycle Touring group back in May and had a group ride out through the Warrumbungles. It is absolutely stunning through there! Once again, you chose the same route we did. Did you see the signs of flooding in Gunnedah? It was under water the week before, a day after we left the area on our way south. Yeah, there was a crazy amount of Harleys in Tamworth for their rally. Our 2nd night after Echuca saw us passing though Uralla at 6pm. We pushed on through the cold, arriving in Glen Innes just after 7pm!

Usually the Newell is in drought whenever I've driven it, so it was certainly a change to see a virtual Inland Sea! I think it will be that way for quite a while before all this rain stops. Didn't see any signs of flooding in Gunnedah, but the river in Gilgandra was definitely on the way up.

Hi guy’s, we have absolutely enjoyed your adventure. You have braved all types of weather and road conditions and done very well. Great to see local footage as you came through our sleepy little town of Peak Hill. We as Harley riders and Coaster home owners love to give a wave to fellow travellers and its even better when you get a wave back . Look forward to your up and coming adventure

Well the roads were fairley flat but it was an emotianal roller coaster! Good video, well done. Most Harley riders wave in France, even to Honda riders!!

Always sad to finish the journey. I know that after spending a couple of weeks in NQLD, they had to drug me (well almost) to put me on the plane from Brisbane to LA. A bit of useless information is when you went past the Radio Satellite in Parkes, it was the same Radio Satellite featured in the movie the Dish. Which quite an Aussie gem.

Hi Andrew, I have been riding for 10 years, and Ellie is my 4th bike (650cc Yamaha to start, then a couple of Tiger 1050’s and then back to the Vstrom650 for the trip). I am sure taking up a physical activity requiring proper attention such as motorcycle riding in mid-life would be good for your aging brain! I thought I might have had enough after a Big Lap but it’s only made me want to ride more. Cheers, Nic 🍻
