I got to know about this podcast, this year through my sister and it has been such a blessing to me.❤

I agree with melody because coming from a apostolic family they believe that you have to speak in tongues to be saved which is false. For the people that are not gifted in tongues the Holy Spirit stills communicates theirs feeling to the lord. There’s times where I’m in so much pain I don’t know what to say to God and I just cry and the holyspirit is talking to me, I’m feeling relief through my crying. Now to be far when I have no words and I’m crying all I do is call gods name so I do speak but in the end I’m not speaking in tongues and God and the holyspirit is hearing me and communicating to me. 1:00:19

This pod is amazing #1 But #2 I agree with melody, with that scripture. I have had personal experience also with the Holy Spirit interceding for me through crying to the point of groaning. The Holy Spirit can intercede through speaking in tongues but like the scripture says sometimes we don’t have the words to utter. When your in so much pain and agony the Holy Spirit brought me to this place of groaning. ( Psalms 5:1)

yea i agree with Melody, the holy spirit intercedes and the groans don’t have to me tongues. but he said “speaking in tongues is not a sign of the holy spirit, its a gift” but the Bible does say that speaking in tongues is the proof that we’ve been baptized in the holy spirit

Great episode!! I agree with Melody. A groan is a sound made from not being able to articulate something. So a grunt, a sigh so yes a cry. Sometimes we can’t speak and can only cry. God hears our cry and he understands it and responds accordingly. Holy Spirit interceded for our cries as well. ❤️

This was good!! The conversation on feeling disappointment when God says no is something I just had to go through. Learning that it is HIS will that will be done. Learning to actually be JOYFUL that He is saying “no” or “not yet” whether it is to protect us or because we are not ready. I have not had my menstrual cycle since I was 17, and I am now 28, and I have come to place of such a peace - the one that surpasses all understanding - knowing that if His will isn’t for me to have children, then I am okay with that. I have learned to be satisfied with JUST Him. Only Him. Man, I can go on with testimonies of how I have had to learn to just trust Him, because He really is a GOOD father. It really does change your outlook on life. I’m okay with whatever happens - bc I know my purpose isn’t for my own selfish desires to be fulfilled, but to be in communion with God and spread His word.

Great episode as always💗 My two cents on the Romans 8:26 debate: I'm more on team Melody on this one, the greek translation used for groaning is "stenagmos", it is the same used in Romans 8:23 which talks about how we believers groan in pain because we eargerly wait for our next life and also in Acts 7:34 where it says that the Loard heard the affliction and groanings of his people. Speaking in tongues is translated mutliple times in the NT including in 1 Corinthians 14 as glōssē or glōssais. PS: I do think it might not be us physically making these groanings but the Holy Spirit Himself if we read Romans 8:26 in the KJV. Love, have a restful break!

Great Podcast but Me having to come here after hearing the podcast on Apple I totally agree with Melody I think cries, and physical groaning are another way for the Holy Spirit to intercede through you I personally don’t speak in tongues but have had cries and groans in prayer and from there the Holy Spirit has giving me revelation after of what it meant. I also can use the example of Jesus prayer a getsemani where he was sweating blood I feel like the spirit was interceding through him for him to bare what he was going to have to face and he necessarily wasn’t speaking in tongues.

NKJV is my all time fave then amplified or amplified classic. I’ve seen some versions remove very important scripture like in matthew where it says you need to pray and fast to cast out certain types of unclean spirits which are due to the companies who owns rights to that version of the bible and therefore feel the need to revise it according to the standards of the company selling and producing that version. So check ya bibles cause people are trying to edit the word of God and get a version that has most of the scriptures accurately included

I loveeee you guysss❤️❤️ 1:01:37 I don’t see the difference between what you said and what Melody is saying 1:03:26 it’s basically the same thing😂😂 crying is a wordless groan as well no? the same way you can’t interpret tongues you can’t interpret tears. personally there’s been times when I’m worshipping and/ or speaking in tongues and out of no where a tsunami of tears starts streaming down my face & I’m not even sure why I am crying. But the Holy Spirit knows and intercedes for me. i believe that verse is speaking about all forms of worldless groanings, crying, speaking tongues, etc. ❤️❤️

I know someone who’s into new age and she views tattoos as a ritual which I don’t think is a coincidence. She says because you’re drawing a bit of blood in the process. We are so carnal-minded that we can’t understand what things mean in the spirit
@treasimonАй бұрын
hi, Mel & E, I HOPE Y'ALL SEE THIS !!!!! the argument on the groanings of the spirit is very much understood. 😅 but groanings aren't tongues, and possibly aren't tears either, though both can come alongside the groanings. groanings are wordless sounds that convey pain, and whatever else we feel in our moments of weaknesses that the Spirit of God interpretes as words of prayer. & conveys our actual heart desires to the Lord. if you remember the story of Hannah, she was groaning in the temple. Prophet Eli thought she's gone drunk. but she explained humbly that her pains were too deep for words, & she was praying. so, groanings are very much painful sounds from the heart, that the spirit sees, & knows and interpretes to heaven on our behalf (that's him making intercessions). ❤

I agree with Melody because God gave us the Bible for all his children and not everyone speaks in tongues. So the context would have to be edifying for those that don’t speak in tongues, in other words groaning pertaining to different forms of pain with crying and other things of that matter.

But Jesus Christ our Lord and Savior had 24, 23 from mary and The One from God. I can’t wait for you both of you to come back. I pray blessings and love upon both of you and your family, especially in the transition of welcoming the baby. May God bless and keep you and His might arm.

Hi guys Love the pod and I’ve been watching since it started last year Hmm for Groans, I believe that groans are different from tongues but they are not Silent. Tongues is a language, an heavenly language so they are words but they are words only God can understand but groans is not a language so therefore I wouldn’t call them words but I would call them sounds made by our spirit especially when we are deep in pain. Paul says the Holy spirit intercedes for us with wordless groans, so there are no words but there’s definitely sounds been made. Also guys, we can actually check Google for the meaning of groans 😅 I personally like to think of groans as one of my deepest form of prayers because at that point I’m lost in the spirit 😂😂 Love you guys!! ❤️

Speaking about tongues and groaning, I mean you can’t actually debate about something you’ve never experienced. Like groaning can happen when you don’t have any words to say with your physical mouth but instead you cry out and when you cry out, you have words that are only between you and the Holy Spirit. And sometimes you can speak in tongues not with your physical mouth but it’s just a spiritual conversation between you and God and people may see you crying or groaning but you’re in a deep conversation with God that the physical can not see or hear. I don’t know if I make sense 😂😂 but that’s the best way I can explain it😊

Hey! I have a question about the trinity?? I know they don’t use the word trinity in the Bible & I know it’s still God wrapped in one, but in Genesis chapter 18 who were the 3 visitors that visited Abraham and Sarah. Why did Abraham bow down to them?? Why did they speak all at once?? Even in the beginning when God was creating humans in Genesis 1:26 its states “Let us make mankind in OUR image” Genuine question bc I’m lost when it comes to those scriptures bc it shows God talking to the Son and the Holy Spirit in the beginning. Then they all at once talking to Abraham in separate bodies??
@treasimonАй бұрын
hey Mel, i think they place those verses on the footer of the bible because, some modern translations are so terrible that they're trying to water down God's word, & or remove some verses, not very much directly as with yours.

I don’t think Romans 8:26 is speaking about tongues because tongue are either in a different earthly language or a heavenly language.

Love this podcast.. literally been influencing people at school to start listening... But i disagree with the tattoo thing.. something i can't remove from my head about our body is that, God made us in his own image so, why would we modify what is pure and precious to God.. it's just like virginity.. and the "our body is our temple" so we must take good care of it.. also, God came to us as Jesus to give as guidance thats why we have to go through him to get to the father.. when you surround yourself with Jesus you will pick up piece by piece to become like him.. because we just can't help ourselves his so inspiring... So he was all about his Father and he didn't do anything that was for the world.. and look at the Hollywood rappers.. all they do is to try and mock God.. they cover themselves in tattoo.. they do not please our God at all.. so think it through as we say the bible is full of parables.

If you have a child, you become a father. You have a mother, you’re a son as well. But you’re also a spirit with a a body. You have these titles because you perform as these things. You are still one person the whole time. God is so many things to us. Our human minds made the trinity concept to comprehend it but we’ve misinterpreted God. God can manifest however he chooses. It’s so beautiful

Don’t get your tattoos… God hates tattoos. Our Lord Jesus gave my uncle a dream of me and my uncle talking about tattoos in the dream and we talking against it and talking about the book of Jeremiah. Then we ended up talking about it the next night… He told me that night he dreamt we were talking about it. God hates tattoos because you belong to the Lord and He wants you exact how He formed you. Also, tattoos give way for the mark of the beast (read the tattoo verse again with the statement I just said)… God also hates nail polish… literally told Jesus I was getting nails done in conversation with Him and 2 nights later… He engraved a cross on my nails. “You have been bought with a price.” That dream convicted me hard… yes about nail polish. Imagine how God feels about tattoos? We are children of God and have been bought with a price… so much so that He commands us to obey Him with our bodies (Yes! It included what we look like!) If it didn’t matter to God, He wouldn’t have said anything. About clothes: Jesus has dressed me a few times in my dreams and I’m always in a long dress (once in a brown dress, another in red (for victory) … or a long skirt… and the crown of my head is covered… like what Paul in the Bible. He dressed me one time in a cute headband. Never does He dress me in pants. This is proof that he hasn’t changed on these stances. He’s unwavering.
