I grew up in Evansville, 60 some years ago. I'.ve been gone a long while; but the River. big trees, hills, farms, have stayed in my heart. i learned to be in the Arts there. My folks had river property. I used to go to Angel Mounds as a cub scout. My grandma made super fried chicken. My uncle had horses. My dad used to go to the horse track, and loved his bourbon. My mom introduced me to brain sandwiches. I'm retired now, not local, Old I just want to say that Evansville is a splendid place, really historic and beautiful. I am grateful for anybody who keeps it up, wants to honor its Past, feels it has a Soul and Future.
