Unfortunately, Today, the day after this Premier, the Grey cat "STRIPES" will be relieved of his 15 year companionship with me, also due to kidney failure - I 'rescued' him only months before I 'rescued' "STARS" (yes, that's RIGHT - STARS and STRIPES 😉). now, with that update given . . . I hope you all liked this episode of WIAWB; maybe you learned something and even possibly some of what was mentioned might help you or someone in your life. I look forward to meeting many of you for the first time and many more of you for the second time in a weeks' time in Vegas. By the way, I can now Announce here for the first time the plans for a second UN-official meet & greet in Vegas . . . TIMES AND LOCATION : WED the 28th 5pm-Late and a 2nd m&g only hours before the first concert (just like in Portsmouth) THURS the 29th 2-5pm . . . LOCATION : WESTGATE LAS VEGAS RESORT AND CASIO BOTH WILL BE LOCATED IN THE 'FOOD COURT' area adjacent to the 'SPORTS BOOK'. The food court includes a GRILL, a TACO and a PIZZA 'place'. I will be detailing the other dining options in an upcoming 'update' video on my Channel. Finally, Other than name tags being Available to help identify who in the Public areas is Participating and of course WHO they are, the Wed and Thurs meet & greets will be informal . . . come and go as you please. 😇Jim

I finally got to watch this episode #10. And it IS a "10". As to this comment from you here, in future, make sure yiu qualify the MEET & GREETs.. AJ MEET AND GREET vs. Implied ANGELS MEET & GREET, or, FAN GATHERING , PRE or POST SHOW. M&G usually suggests tuat the talent is present, in the show biz world. HET, MAYBE SOME DAY, SHE WILL CRASH A FAN EVENY AT SOME LATE NIGHT PIZZA BAR !!!!!

Hi Alan and Pontus. Million things to say. Million things to ask but I'll try to restrain myself ( no guarantee). I've watched all your podcasts and this is definetly on the top of the list. Now James. ( I subscribed to him right on the title of the 1st video of his I watched). I'm kinda envious. I dove into the rabbit hole roughly 4 years ago and he,in less than a year, gave me " insights" I didn't know. Hats off to him. I liked the analogy he made between his and her mind. He " doesn't suffers' of the Aspergers( spelling ok?) Syndrome. It helped him to find himself. Maybe Angelgers syndrome helped "us" to find ourdelves.👍👍👍👏👏👏👋❤

Thank you for introducing the maker of the Angelina Jordan Nobel Peace Prize video to the rest of her fans❤ There's a topic I would be interested in for a future "Wrapped in a Warm Blanket" discussion: Angelina is a prime example of what a melding of genetics, culture, upbringing and social mores can produce. Because of all these attributes she is able connect with her voice to empathetic people. Her singing pierces my heart and soul. Many listeners have said they feel blessed that they are living in the time of Angelina's emergence. She gives me hope that her generation will be better at spreading peace on earth 🙏❤

Her singing melts the pain of the past, to enjoy the present. Which is the only place of happiness! That happiness of the present creates the emotion for a lot of people who realize the difference in the feelings. It’s what Howie said in a different way, Hypnotic.

This was a wonderful podcast! Thank you Alan, Pontus and James. As with many of your discussions with Angelina's fans it illuminates the experience that so many of us feel with her art but find so hard to understand. James, I'm so glad that you have found Phoenix in your life. The work you have done on your KZbin channel has really helped so many fans to connect with each other and with Angelina's art. Your discussion really helped me understand how Angelina's art has changed my life. My wife, who passed away four years ago, was a warm and loving person who brightened the day of every person she met. I was the quiet hard-nosed "realist" in our relationship. Together we completed each other. When she died, I felt half of me died with her; and I missed her warm loving presence. But I also felt the loss of her loving connection to everyone that we knew as well. In two years of covid isolation I felt disconnected with the world in general. It was only on hearing Angelina's songs: 7th Heaven and Million Miles that I realized, not only that wife lived on in my heart, but that I could BE the kind and loving person to other people that she had always been. I could "look in the mirror and love the person looking back at me". Her simple request to "be kind and spread love" became my mantra. Fifty years of memories of my wife changed from being constant sources of grief to a "waterfall" of gratitude and a guide to living the rest of my life with compassion and hope. The window this family has given us into their joy in living has been priceless. And James, you're creative work is inspiring as well. ❤

My wife died four years ago as well, right before covid hit. We were together for 43 years. I can identify with everything you said. I only discovered Angelina about a year and a half ago, and I wish that I had found her sooner so that we could have shared the discovery together. Angelina's music would have been a great comfort to her.

First of all, to say this video was unique in so many ways is an understatement! James, after watching you and listening to you during this podcast, it explained to me what my feelings were when we spent time together in Portsmouth. I really liked tagging along with you, admiring your focus on what you were doing. But, there was a distance between the both of us and I believe we both felt it. I've always have had a knack of finding out who people are in my own special ways but, although I was very comfortable with you, I wasn't able to understand you very well, another words, what made you tick. It didn't upset me at all but it did make me wonder about why I wasn't able to get through to you. Now I understand completely. What's funny about this is you must of had been wondering the same thing about me, "Who is this guy?" After saying all this, there is no question we 'connected' after we understood we were both very different in many ways and we watched each other exhibit our 'strengths' about who we are. Alan and Pontus tried so hard to get you to speak about your emotional attachment to Angelina but it never really came to truition. I, on the other hand, wear my emotions on my sleeve for all to see. This video with you, Alan and Pontus, and a few thousand of us watching and listening to the video, gave all of us a lot to think about in regards to the affect Angelina has on all of us, a personal affect to each one of us. A point which was brought up in the video had to do with basically, "No explanation required!" Anyone who knows me, personally and through my comments, knows I'm all about explanations and I present my thoughts so that I can contribute something to Angelina 'angels' about what that feeling they have stirring around in them is when she is singing 'for them'. James, sorry to hear about the loss of your family member, 'Stars'. I know it is difficult to accept. But, tell me, doesn't it seem like 'Phoenix' was waiting for you to find her?

Love the episode. I'm always delighted by the questions Allen and Pontus ask. Often they lead to very insightful replies. My best freind has Asperger's Syndrome. His symptoms are: Has a very hard time relating to others. ... Likes fixed routines. ... At times does not recognize verbal and non-verbal cues or understand social norms. ... He has a brilliant mind in science and math. Also in word play and certain computer skills. James Thiel is a very intersting guy and I really enjoy his channel. I'm glad you had him on.

Saying( The greatest Artist ever) is in each person's head . You can't tell another that. To me she is my greatest Artist ever. . Young people can't say that. Or won't accept that. They have not lived long enough. There is great music in the past that they have never heard. Or artis . Sarah Vaughn. Nat King Cole. And others. So we who have fallen for Angelina Jordan stile . It's because we have heard and love those style before.

@quinjesuis91879 ай бұрын
iam guessing that Angelina Jordan's mind is working so fast; that when she goes to speak; that all these thoughts are trying to come out as she speaks; so just like the way she slows a cover song down into her style of jazz; she might try, slowing her thoughts down, put a few pauses in her speaking, people actually like pauses when their listening to speakers; because they know they are actually thinking about what they want to say in the best possible way, also you can find just about anything on KZbin, so I would look up tricks to public speaking and Q&As, this would help, with me I had to learn to shut out negative thoughts about what people might think and say about what I am saying, be myself; and let what will be, will be, I had to learn how to concentrate on the subject that is being spoken on, block out everything else, then before I say what I want to say, I ask myself, will this hurt the feeling of the person in front of me, if it might then I need to put it in a way that is not offensive or hurt to that person, but most all the time I say hopeful things to lift people up, so when I goto speak, the overall message that I want to convey in all I say is HOPE, there are certain questions you can have answers to before hand because people and/or fans will ask , will be asked a lot; but the questions that are not often asked; these questions you can pause, and give yourself time to think and give the best possible answer that will be a benefit, here is a interesting way to answer a question; if it is an answer that would take to long to answer; because it is complicated answer, answer with a song, like if a song can answer the question better, you say here is a song, then you say the title, this song best answers your question, you can be creative to answering and speaking, just like when you create art or music, and if you are not comfortable answering a question, be honest and say, I don't like that question; so I will not answer that question or say I don't know the answer, and we will move onto the next question 💝
