This was a fun episode! The fiery swamp Apple Bloom went through reminded me of that forest Princess Buttercup and whatshisname crossed in The Princess Bride. The chimera made me think of NHL player Jason Chimera(pronounced CHEE-MEH-RAH) of The Washington Capitals. There were 2 firsts in this episode: There are Cajun ponies in Equestria, and ponies eat spaghetti. I LOVE spaghetti! :D So if ever I get trapped in Equestria, I wouldn't be too out of place(even though there wouldn't be any meat sauce). The CMC keep growing up! :D

And thus we can now add chimera to the official equestrian beastiary. Funny thing I noticed about it was that all heads where toothy, so I guess they are pretty dedicated carnivores(Though with a taste for pie and ricotta. Omnivores with preference for meat then maybe?)

Applejack's behavior in this episode is what I like to call "loveably overprotective". It's when a character, such as Applejack or Marlon, act so overly protective but I just can't help but love them for it. Even if I don't necessarily agree with it.
