how did you get the dimensions and exactness down for drilling the hole for the bumper exit

Took a couple measurements. With the exhaust pipe installed I took measurements from the tire to the center of the pipe and from the ground to the center of the pipe. Then, remove the pipe and installed the bumper, used the measurements to get a center drilling point on the bumper. Crossed my fingers 🤞🏾 and drilled. Worked out perfect.

I have heard some controversy between Tuners and actual people that race the cars. Are you changing the plugs and gapping them?

It's always a good idea to check and change the plugs as needed with proper gap related to boost levels. The plugs give a good idea of how the motor is performing and you can also see how each individual cylinder is performing.

did you remove the oil pan for the oil return? If not how did you prevent debris from getting in the pan? thanks

I didn't remove the pan. I greased the drill bit ,drilled slow and then drain the oil after. Also you can add a few extra quarts of oil to the oil pan so the area you are drilling has oil and will start to leak once the hole is made and that will help to keep the derbis out. Haven't had an issue yet.

What do I need to know before removing the A/c lines? Do I have to discharge the system? Mine is a 2018 as well

Discharge/vacuum the system at a local a/c shop, keep all the Seals and Orings from the stock line because the new ones don't come with it. The line that connects to the compressor that goes under the head wrap it with some heat shield. That should be it

Yes you can...it creates restrictions for the turbos and adds unnecessary wait because the car is not too loud with the turbos, that's why alot of people don't do it

The kit replaces the LTH with turbo headers and it is possible to run it with a modified exhaust/catback

Does the sandwich plate for the oil feed come standard, a guy I met yesterday in Ocean City MD at cruise week did a oil filter relocation cause he chose to do the full exhaust. I would love to get this kit but only two install videos out there counting yours, but your video is definitely pretty detailed long as I go the same route with bumper exit and all.

Yes the sandwich plate comes standard I don't believe you have to relocate the oil filter with the full exhaust, maybe it was just a personal choice for him. I could be wrong tho

I’m sorry man. One last question. I have the front 02 sensors connected now and good to go. As far as the two rear 02 sensors do they still have to be plugged in if there turned off or can I unplug and remove them completely from the car??

No if they are turned off they don't have to be plugged in but it won't make a difference if you leave them in.

We cerakoted all the pipes, added a shroud from Hellion and use 1 stock fan and one of the electronic fans. Both are wired into the factory harness high speed circuit and come on as the stock fans would. With all of that temps have been perfect.

Yes there would be space right by where the wastegaes dumps are. The maf is in the cold side pipe going to the throttle body, on the bottom side of the pipe where it crosses the coolant hose. The kit comes with an extension since the factory plug is on the driverside.

Getting ready to order the kit. Goin with exhaust through cat back, can the stock be used? Have the active exhaust, so assume would need to be set to track so valves are open to reduce back pressure? 15-17 I would recommend fuel system (pumps and Injectors). 18+ I would recommend atleast upgrading the intank pump to a dw400, especially if you planning to run E85.

Now im going back n forth on the single or the twins kit. Gonna do a Li dual pump fuel kit, 1000cc injectors, set of 1500hp Ford half shafts, upgraded oil pump gears and crank sprocket. Wont be prob any dig racing, just some rolls now and then. 2019 stick shift car.

Yes factory oil pan, drilled and tap the front of it with a bung.

Bov goes to a vacuum port on the intake manifold, one of the ones right after the throttlebody works well. Yes any port on the gates not being used needs to be plugged up.some of them doesn't go straight through but the ones that do need to be plugged.

Per the tuner (pbd) we used bank 1 sensor (passenger side.), I've seen other tuners require both sensors.

Seems like you didn't have to how would you run the downpipe to connect to the midpipe on this setup I'm seriously leaning towards ditching my SC for a turbo set-up but the ease of maintenance on a sc setup is loads easier to deal with.

No ecu relocation required like the twin turbo kit. On3 does offer an option to run the exhaust to the rear of the car. I do like the bumper exit tho, it's not very loud and doesn't create any back pressure issues. Supercharger can be less maintenance but once the turbo kit is installed correctly and the car is running good there isn't too much to take care of with the turbo kit imo.

If I do go turbo I will still run to midpipe, and just do boost dumps there, because I don't wanna hack up my car. Thinking hard about a custom setup.

Only thing you'll be using is the Catback or from resonator delete back. Thi kit comes with new Manifolds so you'll have to remove the header and high flow cats

Mounted directly to the radiator with pass through tie downs that came with the fan. Would strongly suggest getting a shroud tho because having the fans like that doesn't do much, especially her in FL

Didn't have to. But on this car I installed a return style fuel system with dual Regulators. Depending on your power goals you could run a dw400 inank pump, with bigger Injectors and be fine on 18+

How do you like this kit compared to the TT top mounts? Does it take much longer to spool up?

Really like both kits. Single turbo kit is easier to install, no need to move the fuse box. If I was building a street/Strip fun car I would go single . If I'm building a track mostly car then I would go twins. Besides fuse box the only other gripe I have about the twin kit it the exhaust pipe by the steering rack it creates a restriction point and will cause back pressure issue at high boost level(22+)

Not having to relocate the electronics is a big factor. I was leaning towards the topmounts, but I've heard issues with water causing damage and i want to stay pretty streetable.

There shouldn't be any welding required, however I did have to get the exhaust pipe for the bumper exit cut and twisted just a little because it was hitting on the frame. If everything line up the way it should no welding is required.

Yes it threaded right in, I used silicone on the tread and where the fitting meets the pan and let sit for overnight. The Intercooler only came with 2 small L shaped bracket I had to make and fabricate my own.
