4:20 the diff :D I remember back in 2010 when it was -32 one morning and my father had a brand new BMW 520d (2010) and it did not start, then I tried to fire up my 1991 Chevy Caprice that had been sitting for about four days. The BMW did not start but the Chevy fired right up :D I guess that a new starter and battery had something to do with it :D

Was the caprice a petrol? I guess so. SI engines start easy at low temperatures, CI (diesel) has its problems to reach ignition temperature via compression on cold intakes.

Cool video! Living near the polar circle I've experienced many cold starts. My record is -32C started 1.6l Toyota Avensis without preheating. The sound of the metal inside of the motor was cool.
