When I'm camping 🏕 I tent camp and have rechargeable lights fan and sleep 😴 on air mattresses, plenty of room and comfortable. But I do like just sliding up my overlaid cover plywood from my back cargo area With my middle seats down for my platform bed 🛌 🙃 use it mainly at rest or parking areas along my way. But sometimes when it's raining 🌧 it's so sweet to change a plan and not deal with a wet tent . You definitely had a full day with the pups. The lake was pretty for a hike 🚶‍♀️ 😍

Looked like really nice scenery and solitude. It looks like the fur baby's get excited to explore and sniff a bit. I agree...pulling a trailer has its benefits but sometimes going without it and deeper into nature is good too. I would have to have a RTT tho that I don't have now. Good job...God Bless....Stay Safe

I just added my RTT and my truck bed rack system. So ready to go explore. I’ll have to carry the dog up into my tent, but the adventure will begin shortly. Loved this video and I have a ton of respect for what you do Nat. Good luck and God Bless

I'm so excited for you! I loved my roof top tent (I still have it but it's in storage). I made a ramp for my dogs to get up top bc there was no way I'd lift my big ole GSDs up there! I hope you have a blast!!!

Creed can be nice but Slumgullion Pass is close by and better for exploring. Then on to Lizard Head Pass for the "true" Colorado.

@NatMoran To start with, I'm a 67 yr old female who loves to camp. My 4runner is my baby. I would like to be able to go camping for a week or so at a time and be fairly comfy. I'm not really sure how to make that small space functional. 🤔

It's taken me a few trials and errors to get it right but even then, I'm always finding better ways. I feel like I always organize, reorganize, and then do it again. The most basic way ( for me), was building a raised platform in the back with pull out drawers. One drawer was the kitchen and the other pantry and Misc items. Molle panels help with wide storage, cargo boxes up top help, and then every little open space had something. It's kinda fun getting creative with it.

Not sure why u aired down if it is not muddy or soft sand. Looks like a fun area to drive though. 4w low is for pulling a load, climbing huge hills or needing more power under strain. On video it is hard to see what you are up against. I Enjoy ur channel. I like the fact you mention GOD.
@NatMoran

I aired down because there were sharp rocks, and it makes for a smoother drive. Also, i started slipping, and because I didn't know the conditions, I opted for safety. I can always air back up and take out of 4L if i have to. It's easier to get out of a situation when engaged vs. engaging when getting in the situation. Better smart than sorry. 🙃

@@NatMoran Thanks for that. Never thought about the sharp rocks. We cant see what you see. I am lazy. I hate airing up.. Yeah a flat would suck. Nice channel. Thanks for taking the time tonrespond.
