8:49 - Nat, if you are ever craving chicken and dumplings again, I know an easy way to do that, mix a can of cream of chicken soup, a can of water, and a can of chicken broth, and a small can of refrigerated biscuits cut into small pieces. Cut up the biscuits into small pieces and boil them in the soup/broth and you have quick and easy chicken and dumplings. It's not like what you get in a restaurant but it's an easy fix for a craving. Thanks for sharing and for letting me share.

My dad used to do the same thing with the canned biscuits. They’re also really good in beef stew. Brings back memories.

Enjoyed your video. The lights in Leavenworth were so pretty! It's a nice holiday thing to do looking at lights. Happy to see you crocheting. I love doing it. It can be very relaxing. I learned by watching youtube videos. I can tell Pike is feeling better now that his mouth is better. He has happy eyes now. Safe travels! Looking forward to your next video. Oh...and good luck with the job...happy for you!

I know that was a rough trip in the cold!! Can’t wait to see the next video with the next leg! My pups do the same as Pike. Some mornings I’m like “ok, Snuggs, time to get up, time to get up….time to get up, lol.” Your casita is looking very cozy.

Sneak peak, I ended up going back south, and yesterday was 85° and I had to turn my AC unit on.... but one of the next videos is the determining factor to that decision (i was trapped in my camper bc of ice). 🤣 thanks for being here!!

Hoping you get the camper all dialed in before next winter and stay warmer. Winter camping has it's positive side with no bugs as long as ya can stay cozy warm. Getting a surprise poke in the butt while sleeping had me laughing! (Didn't quite sound right) Good job tho experimenting on new to you crafts. Never hurts to explore new interest. You can somewhat use your stabilizer jacks to level the camper when still hooked up......just make sure to not drive off with em still down. Good Job....God Bless.....Stay Safe MERRY CHRISTMAS TO YOU AND YOUR FAMILY/FRIENDS

Well Lil Lady any propane heater will get you condensation. Get a rechargeable or D battery operated fan ,it helps immensely. If you get the right one you can fold the handle back on the heater and place the fan on it 😊

And inexpensive diesel heater would get rid of all of your condensation and come with a nice thermostatic push button control you could use inside your camper. If you get too warm you can simply turn it off for the last couple hours of the night. Condensation from you and your dog and the Buddy heater is a terrible thing to put up with night after night after night.
@NatMoran10 сағат бұрын
It's just awful! Plus, the heater buddy sensors prevent from starting at certain Temps, which makes it unreliable. It's not my preference. I'm hoping to get a diesel heater for this winter. I've heard really good things about them.
@nancycain443418 сағат бұрын
Merry Christmas 🌲❄️.Nat, I recommend a Olympic Wave 3 catalytic heater. They don't have a lot of condensation and they don't use a lot of propane . They can be mounted on a wall or just sit on the floor. I love mine it's so much better than my Mr Buddy. You have safe travels
@NatMoran16 сағат бұрын
Merry Christmas!! Thank you for sharing the product. I'm going to look it up! The condensation is REAL with the heater buddy. 🤣 Every other day, I'm lifting the bed to wipe down.

OK, so my artistic side me and my mom decorated. Some miniature pumpkins/guards that are like that. We would use a little glue stick. And trace the lines of the pumpkin and then put glitter in there. And then we would do a little thing on the top of The Crown superweird. I know I'm a guy shouldn't do that stuff. But I like to color too. Enough sai've embarrassed myself

I'll second this idea. I'm considering it for my truck camper to reduce the condensation I get from propane.

Does the Buddy heater do a good job of keeping the Casita warm and toasty, or does it just keep you from feeling too cold?
@juliefrog6816 сағат бұрын
Have you thought about getting a diesel heater? I’ve never had one, but I hear it doesn’t cause the condensation.
@rustyneal825915 сағат бұрын
Nat, I read through the other posts so I wouldn't be repetitive. This post mentioned the diesel heater, great suggestion. I don't want to see you having future mold issues caused by condensation behind cabinets, under seats, etc. The diesel heater runs outside and with one hole, you can duct the heat inside. Any RV parts store can provide a fixture that caps the opening while driving. Good luck and safe travels. (Colorado, as you know, is much drier. Less problems with moisture.)
@NatMoran14 сағат бұрын
Thank you for this information. Money has been tight, so i have been trying to make due, but I just received a diesel heater collaboration deal, so I'll be installing it and reviewing it on the channel soon. I have heard great things about them (as long as you ventilate, lol). I'm definitely over condensation.
@NatMoran14 сағат бұрын
I'm actually hoping to head to Colorado after the holidays. I love wintering there (especially with a good heat source lol.
@rustyneal825914 сағат бұрын
@@NatMoran If you have a hard time finding an RV part's store with something that might work for ducting hole, I got one at a tractor supply company. Just FYI.
@rustyneal825910 сағат бұрын
I just remembered that Walmart sells in the RV department a compound called Damprid for less than $4.00. I keep a bucket of the stuff in my camper all the time. I don't know if it strong enough to solve your problem but couldn't hurt. It pulls moisture out of the air.

A very nice visit with you and Pike this morning ... I am watching on 12/21/24 from NW Montana. About crafts ... last year at this time, I started sketching and watercolor. I was teased as a child about my lack of artistic talent and had avoided this type of thing. I really fell in love with creating ... simple line drawings, line and wash, watercolor ... learning and trying various styles (so many KZbin channels!!!). I also do a bit of crochet ... not a fan of knitting. This year I am working with chunky yarns which is fun as they work up very fast. I am NOT saying that you should try watercolor, drawing or crochet, but I do get the desire to "make" artful things. I imagine you are in a warmer spot by now and hopefully looking forward to Christmas. Thanks for the view of Leavenworth!
