Now we can focus on the Bournemouth, Newcastle and Sheffield United games. I actually think its a good time to play Boscombe as we know we will have to take our A-game down there to have a chance of getting anything out of it. They're clearly going to be confident on their recent run of form. But it's a funny old game. The recent defeat at Brentford was probably more damaging to us than it seemed at the time. Especially with last weekends results concerning the bottom four or five clubs. I think Brentford might struggle now. It's just a question as to whether we can close that 10 point gap. We are almost at the half way stage of the season and looking at our fixture list for the rest of the season, it actually looks quite short with 22 games to go.

One thing neither the players nor manager have any control over is the results our rivals are getting, so no point worrying about them, just focus on us and the opposition each week. I think RE has hit on the right approach to take at home and I'm certain we'll pick up more points at the Kenny from now on. Dilemma is how to approach the away games.

Another good listen chaps - thank you. Love hearing from the players - not only do they all make us proud on the pitch, but all of them speak with such consideration and respect off it. I especially enjoy hearing Eli - comes across as a thoroughly decent, intelligent player, glad he’s getting the goals he deserves too

Thanks again, guys. Rob and his colleagues are doing astonishingly well in terms of opposition research, tactical insight and team motivation. But they can only do that in terms of the capability and resource available to them and a strengthening in defence and more options in terms of striker during the January window can have a big impact. Without that I’m not convinced of our ability to stay up, particularly with what is happening around us with other teams. Although I do think Crystal Palace have further to fall.

Great podcast as always. Interesting out of the 3x main LTFC pods the other 2 both said there was no foul in the build up to the first goal. You mention 2x fouls. Im not sure either way, but just shows how people have differing views.

Ah we lost - but our goal from Eli was superb. Big Mick would be oh so proud of that one! The build up was stunning. COYH!

Random Arsenal fan stopping by - like the podcast, lots of respect to Luton. Just wanted to say I 100% agree with shouts on this channel for Ross Barkley at Euros 2024. Declan Rice said in an interview he told Barkley he was the best player on the pitch when we played and I certainly agree. His performances recently have massively caught my eye and a Bellingham-Barkley-Rice trio would complement very well. Of course we all know Southgate will pick his usual twat favourites instead.

I hadn't seen that Rice interview. Class acknowledges class, I guess. If only Southgate sees what we see!

what is frustrating is Luton are playing brilliant, but the Brentford loss was more damaging than arsenal, man city. luton still have a chance, but the door is starting to close.

What's the news on Osho and Chieo's fitness? Are they expected to play against Bournemouth?
@lutontownsupporterstrust11 ай бұрын
Not confirmed either way. Osho seemed precautionary but Chieo has been nursing that injury for a month now.

I do like your podcasts,but this whinging about refs and supposed bias isn't a great look.

Fairly certain we said you can see why other people go on about the top team bias
