@@jesusisgod4638 Hej! You at least need to have a degree qualification(preferably Engineering), and it's extremely competitive. In addition, it's been not every year space companies like NASA, ESA, Jaxa search after astronauts.

It is very great to see an Ethiopian in such eminent organizations! This interview is also such important one to many of us. But one thing that blows my mind is the age of the Earth: has it really lasted for about 2 billion years as the science argues? And if so, how can this agree with what The book of Bible(personally as being Orthodox) tells us? All in all, what is true is that despite all this scientific discoveries, the world is still full of mysterious things. So, giving value and study in depth for some idiomatic points of our religions can be very help full to advance highly in the science. Good luck for Ethiopian scholars!
Thank you for sharing this amazing scientific intellectual interview to the public.

NASA is the best prestigious organization. Working for NASA shows who you are. It is great to hear that there are born in Ethiopia scientists working for NASA. To me, NASA represents humanity. There will be many milestones to come. NASA has greatly sounding organization and human intellectual quality. I expect many achievements that will open many opportunities for humanity. I am proud of NASA and have great expectations. The blackhole seem frightening phenomenon, but to me I call the blackhole is remaking of the universe. NASA will give us better assessment in the future.
Thanks Dr.Brook Lakew I proud of you .by now you inspired most Ethiopian new Generation to follow your steps and destination we are really lucky as an Ethiopia to have such sinner astronaut in NASA. that will indicate the potential that Ethiopia will soon adv as once in space technology and science.

In fact the one who stayed in space had become younger than his brother for his telemer got shorter than his twin brother..so when you are in space you don't age you but this also could be due to the restrictions of diet and strict exercise regimen for the ones in space....

This is really a wonderful show very inspiring. My comment for Sol is that first, the word "enchawet" seems immoral while you discuss very important issues & you say it reapetdly. Try to replace it with better words if you don't mind. Second, the transition music time period is long please do something about it without being offended.
