Sounds weird to even say this, but it was almost like the family didn't truly understand just what a phenomenon the Jackson 5 and Michael were. It's like total shock how vast was their reach and how giant the corporate machine that produced those thousands of items was. The kids especially seemed shell-shocked. 😀 Great video and visit!

I really wish Michael Jackson got his dream of having the Michael Jackson Museum in Las vegas. That he was going through with the plans just before he passed. He deserves to have one. I love the fans for preserving his legacy but it still makes me sad that everything scattered and could be lost

His estate has enough money to put a museum together but unfortunately they seem useless at preserving his legacy, so I doubt it will happen. When you see what Elvis has with Graceland, you can’t help but feel sad that Michael doesn’t have somewhere like that where his belongings and achievements can be viewed.

I wished they had turned the families childhood home in Gary into this.They could have like Motown bought the whole block,paid the homeowners for those homes on the street of Motown.That whole area is dedicated to Motown with the museum there .They could have charged a feee to keep the museum and the rest went to the family.Again like no one else they have the history,the stories of there family,their careers,the tours,being in the studios and more.

Incroyable vraiment incroyable. J'imagine ton émotion de recevoir un Jackson chez toi et de lui présenter l'œuvre de ta vie sur son oncle, sa famille et même lui même. Tu sens l'admiration et l'étonnement et l'émotion dans les yeux de TJ (notamment quand il lit les mots de son père sur le programme). Merveilleux moment que tu nous a partagé, on se sent privilégié et je comprends que tu ait hésité à le partager. TJ et sa famille sont, de plus, très sympathiques et affables et on les sent vraiment émerveillés. Ta vidéo m'a beaucoup ému en grand fan que je suis depuis 83 et je me suis mis à ta place et j'ai imaginé ton émotion de montrer ainsi toutes tes pièces à un vrai proche de Michael, qui plus est sympathique et qui a tjs défendu son oncle. Wow this is incredible! People always seem to downplay/display ignorance as to just how magnanimous Michael was, and I think in part that is because we don't have accurate historical accounts that do his legacy justice. Everything is overshadowed by the attempts to destroy what he created. Kids all over the world idolised a black man who grew up as a boy using separate entrances to get into venues to perform...what he did culturally on a global scale is totally unique and important in this context. He is the original real life black panther superhero! I hope greater efforts to restore what he achieved even beyond artistic contributions.
