See I hear numbers and think of how my county numbers the trucks. In my department the engines are 3211 and 3212, the rescue is 3241 and our pickup is 3242.

KDG Gaming well the 32 is the station number, and I’m not entirely sure but from what I’ve seen, numbers in the 10s are engines, 40s are rescues and utilities, and numbers in the 20s are aerials and ladders. There’s probably more to it than that but I’m still pretty new to the firefighting scene in PA

KDG Gaming I spoke to my chief and he told me the numbers are picked by the county and depend on the roles that an apparatus can perform 11-19 are engines, 21-29 are ladders, 31-39 are tankers, 41-49 are rescue/utilities/ other, and 81-89 are ambulance
