I love symm but she is kinda garbage. I wish there was stat that shows turret dmg i'd probably be like 1k max for a whole game which is not so good also her rightclick is just a small poke and to do dmg you need to be close range which suck. Other characters just do same thing but better which is sad cuz symm is super cool, her wall, dialogues etc

yes she is trash, but do not you know, we symmetra player would not give up playing her until overwatch die, never give up on symm

Her playstyle relies too much on getting up close, but both primary and secondary fire also require a slow start up and pace, so her damage can't keep up with others. Plus her turrets are absolute garbage now. They are still designing Symmetra as if it was still OW1. They need to both revert her orb fire size back to the OW1 version, and provide a shield gen ability like her 2.0 version. Either replace the turrets with that, or have it as an either or ability where you choose the shield gen or the teleporter. That way Symmetra doesn't have to rely on shield tanks so much, and it promotes versatility in her playstyle.

@@jm4050That’s a great point. She’s a close range character that isn’t immediately threatening up close; like you said, she needs time to ramp up before becoming threatening.

​@@Peerinday yes, that's true. Since i was played OW2. I always play support role. Afraid to play dps cause afraid of toxic. But when i watch Sum gameplay, i love her and try to first my DPs play 💕💕💕

What do you think about her damage partly bypassing barriers and shields? Both Beam and Ball pierces barriers and shields at 50% split. Beam and Ball deals 1/2 damage if it passes through enemy barriers, and final damage against shields deal 1/2 damage split evenly to Shield and Health.

I think what needs to happen it those turrets being indestructible once they’re placed. Whilst in the air, fair game; 1ph. But they aren’t that impactful when any one thing can destroy them

I was a sym main for like 5 years but she just needs another full on rework imo her kit is just so outdated. The turrets are near useless as they are now. Her teleport is good if not a bit clunky still, her primary and secondary fire are great tho. The biggest thing that made me bored of playing her was her extremely lame ult she is a dps but has a very situational mega shield its very odd. Obviously it has its uses but this character can make anything she wants out of thin air and chooses a big shield?!

Have u watched any of steveos games? The wall wins so many fights for him and his team. I always hear so many sym mains complain her wall sucks so I’ve come to a conclusion that they are all low Elo and don’t understand how taking space works.

@@nahaight1373 I’m not saying wall is bad it is very helpful for taking point and making space but it isn’t fun. If I am playing a dps I want an ult that feels cool wall has it’s moments but I’m never hyped to have it ready. When I play Ashe I’m like hell yeah I’ve got Bob (even if he can get insta killed sometimes lol), Sombra emp feels amazing, popping visor on Soldier feels so cool. Sym is missing that wow factor for her ult.
