Sa Araw ng Pasko Music Video (1997)

The music video contains Parols, Christmas tree, and their Recording session of "Sa Araw ng Pasko" with the All-star Cast.
This one is without the lyrics, this was always shown on ABS-CBN Channel 2 back in November to December of '97/'98 on a program called "Star Music Video". Also, The Song itself is now celebrating it's 25th years.
The song was also used on a Station ID of ABS-CBN 2 in December 1997 According to Jayvee Soriano.
It was performed by various Filipino artists under Star Records such as Pops Fernandez, Jolina Magdangal, Lindsay Custodio, Roselle Nava, Jeremiah, Carol Banawa, Jeffrey Hidalgo, Ladine Roxas, Rocky Lazatin, Jamie Rivera, Richard Marten, Tootsie Guevarra and James Coronel.

He recorded some pop hits under Star Records at the time when Tootsie Guevarra and Roselle Nova were at the height of their careers and topping the charts. He made an okay career. Nowhere close to the popularity of April Boys and Renz Verano tho.

Actually ginamit ito ng ABS not as a Christmas Station ID but on promotion ng star records. Paulit ulit nila itong piniplay, pinaplug kaya naging national anthem nung araw ang kanta na to sa bawat xmas gathering sa taong 1997. Dahil sadyang sikat na sikat ang kanta, parang naging station ID na nga kumbaga ng ABS (d pa nauso ang xmas station ID nung araw) ang kanta na to at nagka platinum pa ito. Isa pang kanta na sobrang ganda din galing kay Vehnee Saturno at yung Di Ba’t ang Pasko’y Pag-ibig noong 2000 na all star cast din ang kumanta. Yung dalawang kanta na un sa pasko ang syang naging dahilan na nauso ang Station IDs during Christmas. At dahil sa pagsikat ng dalawang kanta na yan sa pasko, sumunod yung Ang Star ng Pasko. After that song in 2008, wla ng magandang xmas station ID songs ang ABS at puro pabebe na at wlang memory recall.

I remember ang station ID nitong ABS-CBN nung 1997 was yung 20th century fox like theme tas ang bgm nito was "Sa araw ng pasko", yung last part ng narration ni peter musngi natandaan ko, like this, "...ito po ang ABS-CBN, na walang humpay na paglilingkod sa sambayanang pilipino..."

I remember din nung una nilang ginamit itong 20th century fox like theme, ABS-CBN launched its All the Best Shows... omnibus plug featuring their updated titlecards nila and at the end of its part, ang slogan nila nun was "10 taon na kaming nagbalik ng bituin, maraming maraming salamat po..." coinciding of its network being an undisputed #1 network for 10 years...
