This gives me so many chills, I mean how in the hell did Charlotte find out where he was staying?! I really do love this series with Harper, Charlotte & Janet. The skills you all put into making these rp scenes, is incredible. I knew this day was coming for Harper but at least he came in quietly to prove he is innocent in one way than in another. I hope that Harper gets the right justice that he deserves, plus I hope that Janet is found plus I hope that they catch the psycho he calls Charlotte. Keep up with the awesome videos! My question is I hope their is an court case or something like that, as the charges he got most of them would be thrown out bc 1) mostly self defence which can include ones loved one or another person. 2) the reckless driving can maybe brought down as you are mostly expmet from most of that charge due to the use of the emergency equipment at the time of driving (from memory) like what he brang up manly the speed part of it anyway (seen other officers do worse in SAF not saying it's ok just that they seem to be throwing the book at you for no real reason). their are a few other reasons that a lawyer could use as well like the state of mind of him. With the witness protection I don't remember if it was offered but in most cases when a person is being threatened like him and his wife the police should at least offer or be doing witness protection. On another note love the Roleplay so far in this nice work to you and the other people involved. soz for the gremmer and gen english :-P

Using the emergency equipment is lligal unless you are responding to a call due to the fact he was not responding to a call that charge of reckless driving would most likely stick self defense laws can be tricky to prove that the person involved was using self defense that charge may get dropped but then again they my keep it just depends on the judge and jury of course that is sa'f and things May be different than in real life

Well I’m so invested in this that I’m utterly furious! As someone who volunteered as a police officer and now’s quite a bit about law both here and in the states, I just am shocked at how law enforcement have treated Harper. Breaking and entering is a crime against the person (basis in common law). Crimes against the person require a victim complaint. No complaint no charge, no charge on B&E no criminal mischief Reckless driving, come on they are reaching to slap on whatever they can now. Yes he sped, yes he drove carelessly but given the circumstances and the fact he used emergency equipment to signal his approach I don’t see reckless, careless yes but not reckless My final point on the cops. In law there is a point where you reach a charging decision. Do you have the evidence? In this case yes but no reporting party so the evidence is irrelevant. The second question you must answer (in co ordination with a prosecutor) is, is the prosecution of this case in the public interest? ie is it a benefit to the public to peruse charges? Will the public be safer? Would the majority of the public agree with these charges? This second question the answer to all three sections is a clear and resounding no. It is not in the public interest to pursue this case In reality (which is what SAF strives for) these charges would not have been brought as it is clearly against the public interest to charge Harper. A man who believes his wife has been murdered in the most horrific way charged and convicted is not a benefit to any citizen of San Andreas. Pursuing these charges will not make the public safer. Pursuing these charges is not so,etching the average citizen would agree with given a complete picture of the case. So even if the police believe these charges meet the evidential criteria and I have my doubts, but I’ll give that to them. It most certainly does not meet the public interest standard and no prosecutor would touch this case on that basis and on the basis that there is not a jury in the known universe that would convict Harper. Not a chance. All the defence would have to do is explain to the jury how Harper believed his wife had died, explain the manner of death, then ask, can we convict him for what he did, what would you do and I guarantee a not guilty verdict The police have gone down a rabbit hole here of focusing on Harper because he didn’t call them, which isn’t obstruction because there was no active investigation at that point established into the death of Janet Street. I still wonder if it had been chief, Campbell, Silver or any other white firefighter if they’d have been treated the same [in universe commentary not directed at any player but rather characters motive] Meghan continues to play Charlotte as chilling and psychotic as ever and she’s absolutely brilliant at it, kinda scary! Peter you portray Street excellently and Winters does a great job as Janet The police too, even though I believe they’ve got this way waaayyy wrong have been RPing very well. Everyone involved has Can’t wait for more Love you Peter
