I took Jimny Alpha MT last week, drove 300 kms so far. When driven properly got a fuel efficiency of 16kmpl. My requirement was a compact 4x4 and I am totally satisfied so far.

Just came from KODAIKANAL, 3 days trip. 1100 km..4 persons.. loved it... 100-110 kmph in express Highway, vere level confidence in offroad condition/ bad roads ... Pokaan ishtamukka yella roadilum, or routilum vandi kondu poyi .. 2400 km aayi total ... Around 15 kmpl mileage in ac... Happy ... I had problem with power especially on highway with the automatic . Now I got code 6 stage 1 tuned with BMC trumpet air filter. Now it feel a lot more fun to drive, no more lack of power. I can overtake easily. Mileage is also better now. If you plan to get jimny, also plan on getting it tuned.

I use to get average 11 before, but always felt under powered. Now also i get 11, but i am driving more aggressively and enjoying the power . i have also tried to drive normally at highway speed with AC on and there is more than 1kmpl increase than before. My usage involves both city and highway 50:50.

Adding to that, am extremely happy with Jimny, it's not my first vehicle or only one I am owning. I owned more than 10 cars and now I have 1.5 DSG kushaq as well. Even though this doesn't have the power of Skoda which I use very often, I love to drive my Jimny. It's an awesome car. But I have those raised concerns, which I am expecting you to answer and I may get some relief 😮‍💨
