Foxtail Millet Pongal Recipe:
Millets are very rich in nutrients, healthy source of various nutrients. In this recipe, I am using Foxtail in place of rice and making it a healthier breakfast option.
Ingredients;
Foxtail Millet - 1/2 cup
Moong Dal - 3/4 cup
Pink Salt - to taste
Water - 2 cup
Ghee (Clarified Butter) - 2 tbsp
Cumin - 1 tsp
Pepper - 1 tsp
Cashew - 10 halves
Curry Leaves - few
Green Chilli - 2 slits
Ginger - 1 tsp grated
Hing - pinch
