Thank you for the info, very straightforward. I'm planning on getting into some light autocross in the spring, and didn't want to end up getting a helmet that would get me hurt or kicked off the track

Can you do a video on the benefits of open face helmets and their applications vs closed face helmets and their applications? Been trying to convince some people to get a closed face over a open face one.

We can do that for sure!

Just wanted to add a bit more information, for the M rated helmet, the visor area need to have a wider visibility both vertically and horizontally because the rider tend to move both on that direction rather than a SA rated helmet. The driver almost doesn't need a big vertical visibility on his visor because they simply don't need to.

Yup. When you've got a bike banked right over, it's almost as if the road is coming at you from above rather than in front of you

Miata with padded roll bar autocross & possibly track days Full face or Open Face?

Hi, if you are strictly autocross (pylons in a parking lot) then open-face is fine. We always suggest full-face for track events. You may like the Bell Sport EV, a full-face helmet with a 4in eye-opening. A good compromise. Link to Bell Sport EV: www.northstarmotorsports.com/products/sfID1/Driver+Gear/sfID2/Helmets+and+Accessories/sfID3/Helmets/manufacturer/Bell+/productID/8329 Thank you for your question. Hope this helps. Good Luck!
