There are Saab nuts out there, and I confess I am guilty, who appreciate all things related to Saab. Something about these cars that I have loved since the first moment I touched one. To keep the several alive that I operate, I have learned a lot. Still do. It's an oft repeated thing, but it is rewarding. So tired of the brand new vehicles that all seem to look and feel the same after awhile. They have lost something precious - something I would call a soul.

There is a way of parking the wipers away to middle of screen according to the manual

A lot of people don't even know about cabin air filters. Most likely because they are usually accessed from the interior.

I changed mine out today and found the opening or hose below full of pine needles (also all around the air filter and cover, but thats a squirrel problem) my concern is that I did not clear the hose below- do you have any advice for un-clogging the air way? Will it blow upward and clean itself out or should I 'seek professional help'

There is actually a second clip on top of the filter on the other side that also needs to be undone to remove the filter.

+HHO Sailing the fuel filter is a non-maintenance part and is inside the fuel tank on the pump itself. No need to change it.

My 93 is missing the additional plastic cover underneath the first one. Any idea what it is called and where I can find it? I've got water leaking directly into the car every time it rains. Any help would be great, thank you.

+Pierce eeuroparts.com. It's called the cabin air filter housing. If you just search for air filter after you've selected your car you will find it.
