Great video! I pulled my 9-5's engine for a bunch of work, including the chains and sprockets. What noone ever tells you is how easy it all is... if you dont strip any T40 bolt heads, that is.

Kinda wish there was an in depth version of this since I need to do this I think

Really not that hard.. Essentially a big Lego. Nice thing is, that you don't even need the engine tilting thingy to get it out. You can literally get a chain lifter, tie it to a tree and get the engine out. I did once :D

dont know if you´ll answer this in time, is it possible to remove the engine without removing, radiator and other stuff, like is it possible to just disconnect everything that is connected to the engine and hoist it out? or will most things be in the way to do a clean and easy removal? i need to do a swap in mine as the engine blew up.... and that before next weekend

Erik Simca highly recommended to remove water radiator. It is on two screws, you have to remove hoses either way and it makes the job a bit easier. Also dont remove hoses from radiator side, you risk breaking the plastic hose attachment point. Aircon exchanger can stay, aircon compressor also, you just put it sideway on the left.

@egressvk so you're from Slovakia I guess? Where do you live? Are you member of SAAB Club Slovakia or at least on FB? Let me know, I have 9000 myself, and few other SAABs as well :D
