Could you make an episode about how to get the TIS 2000, and also How to get it running? And what you could program in your 9-5 and 9-3, to make your Saab more personal, to outstand from the others? For example like you did now with the horn, change number of flashes when locking/unlocking your car and so on... Thank you.

Good video guy!! I just purchased a tech for my 2005 9-2x Aero and my 2005 9-2x Linear. The Saab memory card doesn't have these Saabs listed. Do you know if I have to a GM Memory card? Or am I doing something wrong? Just a heads-up, I've never used a tech 2 previously, I come a Lexus/Toyota dealership and we use a Techstream hardbook...a bit different.

What are the steps for the 9-3ss ? 2008 I want to add the little horn beep when locking

If I recall the NG9-3 uses the siren and not the horn. I experimented with this a few years back and I added some sound (sounded like chirps, birds or something :-)) I think it took a week then I had to remove it again because it was a bit annoying. The options should be where you configure the lock/unlock options. I can take a look this weekend and see where it's at. If you find it first, just let me know :)

Thanks m8! I have not had time to produce any new videos in some time now, due to issues with my 2005 9-5. The Xenon Auto Levelling has been playing with me. B3410 is the error code and even with new front sensor, cables and another pair of headlights it is still there! Need to consult a experienced mechanic on this one.. Best Regards SaabCars

setting up different features in a module is not programming. downloading calibration software in to any of the modules that the car has is called module programming/reprogramming. two different things.

Thanks for clearing that up! You are absolutely correct. It's rather a adjustment than a programming/reprogramming or reflashing if you're writing a file to a flashmemory. Maybe even a EEPROM. Thanks for watching. BR SaabCars

Skulle du kunna visa hur man gör för att gifta ihop stereon med bilen? efter batteribyte så står det Radio Code på SIDen, har en 9-5 ´02.

Hej. Normalt sett ska de aldrig tappa sin koppling till bilen under ett batteribyte. Undrar om minnet i själva stereon fortfarande är okej? Man gifter in dem väldigt enkelt via menyerna. Har ingen sån stereo att visa det på tyvärr. Men ska ta en titt bland menyerna och se.

Have you checked any Chevy forums? I'm not an expert on the Chevy modules. However the procedure should be almost the same that you add/remove, marry/divorce units in the car. On newer models you might need security access, atleast on some of the SAAB models you need that. BR SaabCars

Hey there, I got the Tech2 to introduce a new Xenon-Headlight to my 9-5 (2003). Starting the ignition both lamps go down and up (even tho the new one is not going up completly) - I also have the WarningLamp for the headlights on on the Dashboard. I tried to teach the car that there is a new headlight .... but I just cannot make the Motor controle the right headlight .... any idea ?!?

Hi. I had problems with my xenon system a few months ago. In my case both the front and rear level sensor was faulty and I couldn't force a calibration of the system. If you can't communicate with the headlight, the cabling or the xenon control-unit is faulty. BR SaabCars

The mechanical key and the electronics are two different parts. You can make new mechanical keys together with the old electronics (for opening and closing and alarm). However, if you want to program new key-electronics to the car you need to have the Tech2 for that. BR SaabCars

Hello, im having problems with my 9-3ss specificly the seat memory module is probably out is there anyhow tech 2 can tell if its bad or not? thanks.

If there is an error in the module the Tech2 will find it! :-)

Well i found out that 12v doesn't come to the motors under the seat. Only one motor has 12v other ones don't. So will tech 2 tell me if there is short or something?

If your Tech2 can't communicate properly it will let you know where it's malfunctioning. I have not yet diagnosed this type of error. BR SaabCars

SaabCars it is a 2002 chevy monte carlo, and I have a tech 2. Need to know how to hook up everything.

I guess you have the correct PCMCIA card for Chevrolet?
