Hello and welcome to Saabkyle04! KZbin's largest collection of automotive variety! In today's video, we'll take an up close and personal, in depth look at the 2006 Mini Cooper S Convertible.
During this presentation, we will take a 1st person look at what the vehicle is all about beginning with the start up, performance data, fuel economy, the occasional track data, and build quality. Also, I will teach you how to use most of the interior and exterior features in a detailed fashion, that before, you could only get from going to a dealership yourself! Throughout the video, I will highlight key styling and unique differences about the vehicle, any available options, and of course it would not be an enthusiast car video without the good ole engine portion with rev and exhaust note with interior and exterior perspectives. A thorough tour/review of this car designed to give others a greater overall appreciation of the vehicle.

I ordered this S convertible in summer of 06 and kept it till December of 18. With 165000 it was a dependable and fun car even in the upper midwest. I switched to a 2015 cooper and loved the room and updated amenities but still missed the charms of my 06 convertible. I found a chili red 06 similar to this review with "only" 81000 miles this spring and sold my 15 cooper. It may seem backward but ya, loving the original that much. Thanks for the complete breakdown of an 06 mini convertible!

While I don't have a Mini, they are cool cars. The ragtop really fits this type of car. If I were to ever own one, a Cooper S convertible is it!

Hey Kyle, I hate to pester you, and I know you are a very busy man and that you can't please everyone, but it would be great to see more land rovers on your channel! You don't have any LR2s, LR3s, LR4s, 2010+ Range Rover Sports, or any recent 2010+ Range Rovers (apart from the Evoques of course!) on your channel, which is pretty much their entire range. I think they're really unique and beautiful vehicles and it would be great to see more of them on saabkyle04. Thanks a lot!

The instrument cluster has always been like that. They still put the speedo in the center in 2013 and they did it before the car was brought back in 2002.

i own a 05 convertible s i took it on a long road trip through California was a blast to drive i did have a issue the car would go into a fail safe mode my engine light and eml light came on while driving slow in traffic it would only go 5 mpg i shut it off and it would go normal but then go fail safe again i took it to Marko Polo's bmw mini shop in La Jolla turns out was the harmonic balancer was shot and throwing the timing off cost $900 was worth it he gave us a good deal took him long to take part off it kinda ruined our trip but we love our mini so much we don't care if you buy one make sure you have it checked out my car runs better than ever

That 'hoover' sound for the last few minutes sounds like the coolant needs topping up. I hope they did this before selling the car. Don't want to bust the engine... I had this sound coming from my mini, same model, 1 year younger. Coolant was empty and my car nearly overheated.

Thats just the cooling fans pulling air through the radiator because the car has been sitting stationary with no air going through the radiator.

Its not designed for big American things, its designed to be a compact yet sporty car for normal use, the supercharger actually makes more difference in the car compared to a large V8 car as its less weight to pull so its more noticeable performance gain, as for the exhausts, they sound pretty cool i thought.

Hey SaabKyle04! How do you like Texas? I live in Houston myself. If your feeling adventurous, there is a highway in Austin that allows you to drive 85 mph or even 90 mph legally, but it is a toll road and I believe it is 6 or 7 dollars to pay.
