My translation of the song. Every line is repeated once. The song is based on a famous tribute written by Rumi's beloved Shams Tabriz for Imam Ali bin abi Talib. It is not the complete tribute. Imam Ali was the husband of Fatima, beloved daughter of the Prophet of Islam (pbuh). He is a unique person in human history. He had great love/devotion for his cousin the Prophet pbuh and impeccable character and unmatched intellect and bravery. Because of how he had served the Prophet and early Islam's struggles, almost entire male heirs of Ali (and the Prophet pbuh) were slaughtered 30 years after Imam Ali's death (50 years after that of the Prophet pbum) and women and children were taken prisoners and made to go through extreme hardships. Islamic literature and social traditions everywhere and throughout ages have had abundance of expression of deep love for Imam Ali and his immediate family. There are many Farsi speakers in Pakistan like my family so Indians trying to twist this beautiful kalaam into claiming it's an effort of Pakistan to become more Persianized is not only ignorant but absolutely disgusting. We don't need you to teach us about our own historical heritage. If you can't even enjoy such a soul stirring kalaam without spreading venom against Pakistanis then you're extremely insecure and childish. The kalaam is absolutely mind blowing. It's so soothing that it feels like a balm being placed on an anguished soul. The lyrics are obviously incredible but the way you performed it, you did justice to the soul of this great work. You made the verses come alive and dance like the swirling dirvesh. Absolutely gorgeous!

Glad that I discovered this beauty albeit two years later. This is just superb. The lyrics are awesome, music, sungers' voice modulation splendid. Video did justice to the lyrics. Someone has put great thought in the symbolism here. Loved how the whole lifespan swooshes in a second and the travellers sitting around the fire and taking the journey to leave the place for others. Happens over and over again. And people appearing from nowhere while reciting kalam. Wish I could meet the person who conceptualized this video to get to know their thoughts.
