Mohit, Please read this message. I am also from India and living in Canada (Ontario). I had chronic cough and bronchitis since I was in India and had the lingering issue when we moved to Chicago and then to Toronto. I used to use many many antibiotics which also added the complication during my pregnancy as no antibiotics were working. ANTIBIOTICS are the WORST. I searched a lot and consulted Ayurvedic, allopathy, Naturopathic, etc. The only thing that worked was to become VEGAN. MILK increases mucus production which increases the chances of infection. For the last 2 years, I did not get any cough and my husband had a sinus issue and his sinus is gone. Try to quit dairy and dairy products for 3-4 months and see the difference. Take care and this is a chronic illness so we need to cure the root cause. Rest and hope you feel better.

Not sure whether you follow problem or problem follows you. Every action of yours causes negative reaction on you. Frankly and truly speaking its now predictable that you will definitely run into problem after 2-3 days after starting new thing. Kind of monotonous. Its okay that you run into problems but please refrain making vidoes out of it. That's my personal opinion though. But you always rush to things and end up messing it more. Wo kehta hai na "Jaldbaazi ka kaam shaitan ka hota hai". Honeymoon is not thing to rush. You could have taken some rest at home and then should have planned it in better way.

Any change of environment time zone and weather creates a stress on the body. This translates into fever, sore throat and related symptoms. Soo one has to be prepared for this discomfort when travelling. Have to take standby fever medicine, cough mixture and possibly some antibiotics.

When you go to India buy Erythromycin and keep with you for throat infection. Thats what I do in usa. Augmentin is more for cold and sinus infection which is also very important but not for throat. If you want more non allopathic buy Septilin and Neem medicine of Himalaya..it helps a lot. I have very similar problem. Plus usa has continous allergy problems so take Claritin. Our body at this age can't become like their all of a sudden and gain that kind of immunity so better be safe than sorry. Tc.

I have same problem.. of sore throat,, what is I figured out is.. these infections are triggered very fast due to .. 1) When we dnt do much of physical activity 2) We eat food which are cold and are cold in nature... So you need to take your food properly.. dnt eat exotic foods.. I have improved a lot and now infection dnt come very often now as I have started much of physical activity and increased intake of seasonal fruits and green vegetables.

As a practising physician in India I would like to tell you the reason why antibiotics are given quickly is because the level of nutrition, environment, lack of awareness and high death rate forces Dr to prescribe them faster.. we are doing as much as we can sir please don’t compare Canadian standards to Indian standards.. very disappointed

Doesn't antibiotics kill all the good bacteria that were meant to fight the infection in your body? Prescribing antibiotics to healthy people and children is really a wrong practice. Even in the UK, doctors avoid giving antibiotics to their patients. Yes, it takes longer to recover but at least your own immune system fought the illness and it is ready to fight again in the future.

The thing is antibiotics are prescribed even for viral infections in India. Patients get used to it and unless doctor gives them so many medicines they don’t consider him a good doctor. India definitely has a world class healthcare system and that too at a fraction of price as compared to western countries. But the issue of prescribing antibiotics for almost everything is real. It has become a vicious cycle. Doctor bhi yahi dete hai, patient ko chahiye bhi yahi and then the process continues.

Earlier it used to happen with me also.. seasonal changes, workload stress, dust and pollution-- throat infection, fever or asthma, etc etc and always depended on allopathic antibiotics, syrups, But now, I am completely switched over to Ayurveda, yoga and naturopathy. Got rid of asthma and allergies. Seasonal changes and workload traveling doesn't bother me
