I am a larger guy 6’1 320 and I ordered the luxury firm. After 2 months I had to send it back because I was developing back and side pain from sleeping on my sides. I’ve got the plush soft in today and so far it feels much better. If you are a larger person who sleeps on their side GO PLUSH! :)

I really need a channel to have women try these mattresses. For weight and shape accuracy. All different body shapes. Cause having more weight on the bottom half of your body really makes a difference. Especially for lower back issues.

Yes! I'm a woman who does mattress reviews and hold more weight on my hips. I've had back issues but TBA, my Purple, as well as back care (massage, stretches, etc) helps a lot.

I am 5'9'' - 225/side sleeper and the Luxury Firm was good for 1 year. I am now getting a replacement free since it has a dip in it and my elbow is hurting. They do have great customer service.

I'm 6'1" and 200lbs and have been sleeping on the Luxury Firm for about a week now. It feel pretty good sleeping on my side but I feel like it might be slightly too soft for sleeping on my back. My big butt really seems to push into the bed and I can't tell if I'm experiencing lower back pain from a hard week at the gym or if I'm just getting used to the bed. I'll likely sleep on it longer to let the bed break in more before I decide if I want to upgrade to the Firm model. The bed itself is pretty awesome and well made and I've tried quite a few beds in the last 4 years (Helix, Casper, Sealy, Tempurpedic, Aireloom) and I can honestly say for the price the Saatva is a much better value the all the other mail-order beds in a box. Hope this helps some folks trying to decide.

@@GypsyPanthr np! FYI I traded my Luxury Firm for the Firm. Its pretty Firm lol almost like sleeping on grass. But I ordered the latex topper and it really offset the firmness and gave me that cushy feel with the support I need so I can sleep on my back and sides. I'm pretty happy for the most part now!

I love that this mattress has three softness levels. It is truly one of the best mattresses you guys have reviewed. I love the traditional spring bed because of my body weight. Plush soft seems the best fit for me seeing as I sleep on my side more. Thank you for the review.

The luxury firm is hard as a rock. They are sending me the soft plush and hopefully it will work out. They are beautiful mattresses but I think they’re firmness levels are graded differently than others. I only weigh 105 pounds and sleeping on my back the mattress pushed so hard on my hip area and tailbone area that was part of a rear end collision over 10 years ago. I certainly hope the soft plush will work! If anyone has any input on all of this, please let me know.

I’m a side sleeper and went to their store today and tried all of them. The luxury firm was the most comfortable to me. The plush felt like I was sinking in a bit too much. After the break in period, LF should be perfect.

I saw so many reviews on Saatva and was poised to make a purchase, and then I saw that someone mentioned Winkbeds, and I was like, what's that?! I had to check it out. It took more time to make a decision, but I ended up going with Winkbeds Luxury Firm. I am sure that either decision is a good one (if you haven't purchased already!) as both brands seem to make an incredible product!! Just curious, did you purchase a mattress already, and if so, which one - and do you love it?!

I’ve had this mattress in the luxury Plush for a couple weeks now and it’s just way to hard. There is nothing plush about it. At least for me, I have fibromyalgia and every place I have pain just feels like I’m sleeping on a rock, my shoulders, ribs and hip bones just hurt laying on the plush mattress. Would you have a recommendation for someone with fibromyalgia? I’m at my wits end trying to find a mattress…Thank you… And the saavtva mattress is also starting to sink in which is a big problem I’m having in finding the right mattress.. I need something that is going to hold up for yrs , not sink in. Ty

Giveaway: I'd definitely go with the Plush Soft, of these three. The Saatva looks like a great choice for a number of reasons. But, my personal druthers would be for their latex-topped model, reviewed in your other video(s).

Have you tested this on a platform bed? We are debating getting a platform bed and most don't recommend innersprings or box springs and it appears (to me) the Saatva is basically a combination mattress and box spring. Just FYI, we now have a Tempurpedic and have been happy with it, but it is getting old. Can we use our Tempurpedic platform/base with a Saatva (if you have any idea, of course). Thanks.

Thanks for the review. I'm assuming that all the Classic versions of this bed are made the same. What makes the Plush Soft softer than the Luxury Firm or Firm. My husband and I purchased the Luxury Firm (2 twin XL) and after several months I exchanged mine for the Plush Soft. I can tell a little bit of a difference, but not much at all. I'm thinking of exchanging it again for the Solaire. Don't really want to pay the extra money, but this mattress, as well as the previous mattress continues to make my shoulder hurt. The luxury firm would make my hip and shoulder hurt. I'm a female, 150 lbs.

Saatva is a bucket list mattress for me. The coil on coil design and euro Pillow top looks great. I am a combination back and side sleeper and sleep hot. My preference is for a medium firm feel or the Luxury Firm model. Great review.

I purchased the luxury firm Saatva Classic. It is TOO firm. It feels like I'm on top of the mattress, no sinking in at all (I'm 160lbs my wife is 125). Now I'm trying to find a hybrid mattress that feels softer or exchange this one for the softer Saatva. Any suggestions? Where do I get that soft but supportive hotel bed feel?

I have had Saatva as well as the Nolah Evolution Hybrid on my list. The Layla Hybrid is third. Based on comments on the millions of videos I have watched, Saatva is probably the most firm. I am going to try the Nolah (they also donate $$ to wildlife preservation which I like) when their Labor Day sale rolls around. I am 135lb and my husband 155lb.

I have 2 Saatva queen mattress firm. After few months it started sagging on the head side that started my backpain. Now I’m sleeping on the floor to save myself from backpain. I spent $2750 but I don’t feel worth it. Rather i liked tuft and needle that i bought at $700 but i had donate that mattress as i was leaving to different state and didn’t want to carry.

I bought the Soft Plush a month ago. I liked it the first couple of days, then the mattress started sinking in the middle creating a sort of a hole a little off to the center (where my upper body would fall) creating an unevenness in both sides. I am a side/back sleeper, 125 pounds and the only one sleeping on it. I immediately called Saatva to address the issue, concerned that the mattress might be defective. They offered to exchange it for a luxury firm, which I wasn't sure since it might be too hard for me. I like the firmness level of Plush for my body and sleep type, but the mattress kept sinking in - my right hip and shoulder would be lower than my left side - and by the morning I would have a lower/middle back ache due to unevenness. When I called again with the same concern, the employee suggested I read reviews and make a decision. I also spoke to a manager who kept asking how many inches is the indentation and truth to be told I am not sure how can that be measured. If it is less than an inch he advised to give it time to break in (not sure if I want to break more in-to it). I offered to send them pictures taken where the imprint is visible, but they wouldn't accept them. Has anyone else had this experience of being swallowed into the center of this mattress while the other parts of the bed are firm? Thank you.

I am experiencing a “sinking” feeling around my lower back and have the plush for a couple weeks. Rep suggested the luxury firm because I told her when I sit in the mattress I am going into it and can’t really balance properly . Also, when on my back I feel mr lower body and hips are indenting. Need to call back to manor a switch but want to be sure before I call. Have you resolved your issue to your liking?

Just the review I was looking for! Once I had settled on Saatva with great information to be found, choosing the firmness was the last step. I had pledged to myself - no more predominately foam mattresses after purchasing too many. Coil durability, coolness, and edge support were my must haves for a mattress recommended for back pain. The review swayed me from trying the Firm first, to going for the Luxury firm, even though I'm a predominate side sleeper. But as those with back pain know - throughout the night, you keep changing positions as if on a rotisserie, pillow cases coming half off. God I hope this helps! Considering body types and ultimately subjectivity, I'll shoot for the middle. Given the super competitive price point, $99 to adjust one way or the other is very reasonable. So, I'm feeling sorry for the nice sales lady at the box store. She was so patient as I went back and forth between too many beds for over an hour - driving myself crazy. Couldn't pull the trigger then and there, to do some research - but then I found Saatva. Since I went this far, I'll follow up. Problem is: It would be hard to wait for the giveaway because I want to order it now. We are getting a King though, and that probably wouldn't be the give away (but I have several other mattress needing replaced too) Gonna be nice to have some bounce again ;-)

We did finally receive the bed. Luxury Firm was the right call for us, and we've found it much better for our backs. Beautiful construction. I'm still very happy with the bed after the first month and am beginning to forget how upset I was for the delivery time.

Tried few mattresses and spent a good amount of money in last few years. One thing I realized that as now with age need a form mattress. Last year bought a medium form Beautyrest mattress from costco. That was comfortable for about 6 - 7 months and then my shoulder and lower back pain came back. My 23 year old innerspring Sealy mattress is still the best firm mattress. But that is in sons room. Seriously looked into Plank and Saatva. Ordered a Saatva today with Firm option. Hope it is truly firm. Saatva has 365 day return policy, though with a $99 fee. I am fine with paying that fee and try the mattress for a year. If this option doesn't work then I'll build my own firm mattress like one of my friends built mattresses for him and his old parents. Materials used are plywood and carpet padding.

Just received my "King" size Saatva mattress. It measures only 75 x 78 instead of 76 x 80! Customer service rep said that it's hand made and that I should expect those variations!!!!!! I called BS on that ridiculous statement and requested an immediate exchange. This is really unbelievable how craftsmanship standards can be this low...
