Man ! I can feel your hidden love for Harley, but as you said your personality doesn’t match it My dear Harley vibrations , it’s air cooled engines and distinctive potato sound makes it unique. why compare cruisers with Adv touring bikes, its like comparing apples and onions. Cruisers are best for comfortable rides ( and with a half face helmet riders can taste all kinds of bugs 😛) whereas Adventure tourers are best for riders who need thrill and speed but with little level of comfort. No doubt BMW r18 is a classy and beautiful machine but even my Tracer 900 has more HP then R18.

Also, for all the phuddus in the comments reading. There is no reverse gear in R18s transmission. It uses its starter motor to push the bike in reverse. So its electronic reverse system.
