Because it was released independently of any label. Saba released it himself through Stem Disintermedia (Same company that Frank Ocean released Blonde through) and owns his masters 100%. Saba has mostly been underground despite coming up along with other artists like Chance. However, CFM got rave reviews and he's getting more high-profile features, like on Revenge of the Dreamers III. He's getting there soon enough.

Damn I felt that It’s been 5 months as I’m editing this and this song help me thru so many hard times and through several suicide attempts and drug prescriptions and abut deppresants and struggle with sanity . I have found a slight peace of mind , you will always have a brighter time ahead of you . Seek help. You can get better , life will find a course for you , stay true to yourself . And most importantly love yourself , because if you don’t love yourself and you aren’t your own best friend you’re depending on other people and only you will be there for you your whole life . Man everyone’s talking about the powerful political messages but now the “had female friends I found attractive, I tried to fuck but I am no savage, now we don’t speak we just walk past” hits different. having those friendships back is infinitely more meaningful than any amount of sex, especially walking past having been so close at one point but now it’s uncomfortable to even be near each other.

But this popped up, the same way I discovered Chance, I used to hate his music when I was younger, but now I can relate to y'all more than I ever thought I would. i listened to this song for the first time back in april 2020 and the timing couldn't be better. i was having some relationship problems, related to cheating, which also led to an ugly fight with the people i used to call my friends, and it was all in the middle of the beggining of the pandemic. i kinda almost did something terrible to an accquaintance and got isolated from my former friends, and months later they have been revealing themselves as huge douchebags, doing shit i just couldn't endorse. some things are meant for the better, even though we don't understand it at first, but it is all part of the learning. stay strong y'all, its still a fucked up reality we're living, but we shall come through

Yeah, I drift for a second, forgot to reply to your message But all these years I been the same in your presence (I'm still here) Countin' the seconds before I reply to your message My biggest fear (is that I have to say goodbye another time) Is that I have to say goodbye another time (Not like this, not like this, not like this) So I skip town on our moment, hopefully prolonging this I don't need nobody new to miss (not like this) I want you to know Ooooh, ooh ooh, ohh [Chorus: Saba] Sirens on the way, ayy Now you're lying where the angels, lay, yeah Sirens on the way, ayy Now we're lying where the angels, lay, yeah Sirens on the way, ayy Now you're lying where the angels, lay, yeah Sirens on the way, ayy Now we're lying where the angels, yeah [Verse 2: Saba] Ridin' through the city I'm young, I'm black, I'm guilty I know one time wanna kill me They don't know me but they fear me 15 years old with the sticky They gon' blame it on the marijuana Hands behind your head And they won't let up out they lead But if I move thats disrespect But if they shoot then that's just that? And if I run then that look bad? Drawing they gun right off their hip I'm probably deservin' 'Cause I know they serve and protect But they think I'm servin' Or they think my cellphone's a weapon Heard that the robber wore a black mask I fit the description, a.k.a. "nigga" What is the difference? It's an enigma We so divided, I'm from Division Clutch that purse cause of my dreadlocks Cross that street cause I'm with my friends Curse every song in hip-hop Keep telling yourself it's all fair [Chorus: Saba] Sirens on the way, ayy Now you're lying where the angels, lay, yeah Sirens on the way, ayy Now we're lying where the angels, lay, yeah Sirens on the way, ayy Now you're lying where the angels, lay, yeah Sirens on the way, ayy Now we're lying where the-

Im weird. I always love the first half og the song more the more n more i hear it. Sirens is fire.. But busy just puts you in that perspective... I feel people dont feel for the fact of how lowkey depressing the track is.... But it fills in so perfectly for what makes sirens...plus i love tracks where it gives you good picture of a artist mindstate... Emotions... Life.. Going into waters they usually don't tread into... Same with This side by earthgang the more n more i listen to that song... The more i appreciate and love the first half of that song... Second half is amaretsu flames.. But the first half just the part that sets the tone for the whole song and album imo..

Elijah Cesar The first part hits so much harder than the second half for me. I relate to being awkward growing up and having to deal with being by myself a lot
