Sabarimala, the holy hill of Hindu devotees, is one of the most prominent Hindu pilgrim centres in South India. The holy hill is located at Ranni Taluk in Kerala's Pathanamthitta district. Every year thousands of devotees visit this holy temple after completing their 40 days' long religious rituals. One of the great things, the devotees follow here is a holy bath at holy river Pampa. Bathing at Pampa is ritually important and is related to Sabarimala visit as the bath is believed to wash off the sins.
