Sarasiya Khaja is a Very popular delicasy from Surat. Its goes best with Aam Ras (Mango Pulp). Sarasiya means Mustard. Traditionally this khaja fried in Mustard Oil so its named as Sarasiya Khaja. White Chilly Powder and Black Pepper Powder makes this Surti Khaja very spicy.
Ingredients: (For 4 Person)
2-1/2 Cup All Purpose Flour
1/2 Cup Oil
1/2 Cup Water
1/2 tsp Turmeric Powder
Salt to Taste
1/2 tsp White Chilly Powder
1 tsp Black Pepper Powder
Note:
- Always Follow the perfect measurements
- Fry it on very low flames for long time or until bubbles disappear.
- Khaja can be made with and Without Baking Soda.
