This song is about the German invasion of Poland in September 1939 which started WWII. On the 8th of September, the German army paid a visit to the Polish town of Wizna. The Polish had less than 1000 men and the Germans had over 40,000 men. The Poles held off the Germans for 3 days against immeasurable odds! NEVER FORGET what these brave men did!
