Swordfish was slower than minimum speed setting on Bismark's self leading AA mounts. Had more success firing the main guns into the sea to try to flood the annoying little biplanes with splashes lol

@@ronaldthompson4989 if I'm not mistaken, Bismarck had the better range on it's guns too. That's why. But i agree. Maybe "It's not like us to be outclassed" works better.

@@joffreyverbeeck1640 yeah, his rangefinders were more precise (but delicate, practically useless during the last stand) and the newer german gun mounts reloaded about 30% faster. HMS Hood had parity in speed and gun caliber, but fair to argue she was kinda counting on HMS Prince of Whales to even things out, and she was so new she still had shipyard personnel on board doing final checks during the battle
