Hey Jenn! Thanks for reacting to my suggestion! I just love this song by Sabaton but I have never watched their history channel backstory, very interesting! Plus we get to see Par discussing the creative process! When you get the chance you should hear Tommy's version, very different sounding with his beautiful voice but also very heartfelt. I also agree with what you were saying about people who make snarky comments, but I have to feel sorry for them because all the negativity is in their minds and they are the ones who have to live with it day in and day out! I hope you had a very Merry Christmas and will have a wonderful New Year! 🌟 🌲 🎁 ❤

Great reaction, az expected . wish you could get half of my snow, we had 40cm last week alone and first snow was beginning of October... darkness and snow (sun is never above treetops, mid day us just twilight for couple ofhours) is one side of living in northern Sweden. the other is summer, that means light enough at midnight a clear say is equal to or better thn middle of an overcast day...

As a German I have to say, that this is a very serious song. We did so many stupid things in the history of our nation we can never forget and will probably be blamed for rest of our lifetime. BUT: We are working on our history since the end of WW2. I remember my shooltime when we had this all over at least 5 years thru our history lessons. That differentiates us from other nations, that simply ignore all their crimes till today. I won't get into details, I will leave that to each one himself. Floor in the end heals some wounds - she is simply a wonder. Thank you for this reaction - well done.

I think every nation has done stupid things. Or rather the governments. People are pretty much the same and want the same thing, security, happiness, family. Wars are just governments jostling for power. It is so sad to see the loss of life all round. Thank you for your comment. I wish you a healthy, happy and peaceful 2025.

Love sabaton, and this is a heartfelt song, as well as many of theirs, because of the history. Tommy J made a cover of this, and it became a totally different feeling to it. Merry Christmas ⭐️

Good one Jenn. Enjoyed that one. The beautiful voice at the end was Floor Jansen from Nightwish. Her husband is the drummer for Sabaton, Hannes van Dahl. He is the guy that almost gets blown up by the hand grenade at the start and the first person out of the trenches. Agree with you 100% Have a Merry Christmas 🎄☃️🎄☃️

Hi Jenn, just listning to the song not the Historie again...but i think they did a great job on how the song was made and the visuele was stunning...and the voice of the beautiful Floor at the and is just so pure and warm. Hannes the guy Who was so brave enough to step forward first is Floor's husband. Thanks for your reaction...see you byebye 😊❤

That lovely voice is none other than Floor Jansen the wife of Hannes and lead vocalist for Nightwish. The running joke is Joakim: we need something very special for the outro Hannes: I'll ask if the missus is available Floor: hold my wine!
