"Dead Soldier's Waltz" is one of my favorite pieces from Sabaton. Its always had a haunting melody to it that I've always hoped was picked up and expanded on (like this) or used in a music video mirroring its tone. Well done, this is excellent.

Yeah! DSW is such an epic tune, even it's pretty short! We were always wondering if Sabaton will make a full song out of it... :)

Im glad I pleased you:) I have to say, whenever you make cover on Sabaton like this, I find something "hidden", or some little refference. I was super sceptical to your covers, cause usually covers on Sabaton songs are not good. But yours are excelent.

Two brothers, equal in pride and love, one suffers and chooses the dark, the other chooses light but feels no loss. Years and their acts separate them, until light and dark inevitably clash. One wanes and the other rises.

I know I’m probably late on this but you guys should maybe put out a tab for this so other people (like myself) can learn this! I’ve looked everywhere and can’t find anything on this song for the main melody 😅
@ProjectAyano5 жыл бұрын
Hey, sorry but we recorded this all playing by ear! I believe you can find guitar pro tab of the original song, it's really not that different (style is, but root notes are pretty much the same). And it's a good practice to try and play by the ear ;)

Try to listen with other headphones, or on speakers (without EQ) and then tell me if it's also a tad bit to much bass... I feel it's on spot, but those thing are always subjective :)))
