if there was a movie about Carolus Rex this would be one of the tracks

One of the best orchestral covers, but I think you should have continued with the military march approach, don't get me wrong, I enjoyed the calm part, but keeping it an epic march for the whole song would have been magistral comme on dit.

If you think about it with how king Charles died It was kinda anticlimactic in comparison to the rest of his life

This is amazing! I actually like your approach where you don't make it sound like the original song, but rather expand on it. Would you consider doing orchestra covers of Nightwish songs?
@JordyZijlmans4 жыл бұрын
Very very much appreciated! I always enjoy making a cover my own, instead of simply copy-pasting the original :) Glad you enjoyed it! At the moment I'm working on an EP, but as soon as it's finished, I'll put Nightwish songs on the list! Do you have any suggestions?
@leemarclao24404 жыл бұрын
@@JordyZijlmans I'm sure your EP will come out great! Hmmm, it's a good question. Generally I like orchestral soundtrack. On a practical level, I also search for music I can use for different situations in D&D. I can see My Walden, Edema Ruh, How's The Heart being used as tavern music. KotKa SVB had released Ever Dream, Gethsemane, and Over The Hills And Far Away orchestral versions a few years ago. I like those ones quite a bit, but I'd be interested to see if improvements can be made. I personally favor Ever Dream, Edema Ruh, Last Ride Of The Day, and Sabaton's The Last Stand.

It's alright, just wish it sounded more like the original song, meaning that each parts the guitar played was mor amplified, because it almost doesn't sound like the original at all other than being in the same key and BPM.
@JordyZijlmans5 жыл бұрын
I prefer my covers to not sound exactly like the original. If that were what I wanted, then I'd easily copy/paste the midi into some VST's and call it a day. I'd much rather take a song as a starting point, go from there and make it my own. Aside from that my cover still follows the original. It has the same melody lines and the same exact chords. The only thing different is that I re-arranged the structure, slowed the BPM down, and played it in the key of their live version instead of their studio version. Nevertheless, thank you for the feedback. Always helpful :)

Really good version! But many of the moving parts were so hidden in the background. :( Gotta bring those out!

I prefer doing (Sabaton) songs which haven't been done before. An Orchestral Cover of Gott Mit Uns, for example, has already been done before by this other KZbin channel. But I sure do love suggestions, so I will keep Gott Mit Uns in mind for sure! :) Who knows!
