You are right cannon on the Me-262 was 30 MM was set as a rule high-explosive and incendiary bombs, the fire from it is very dense but it is provided that the machine will not perform sharp maneuvers and handling from Me-262 was not very good and it was really hard to throw I mean what to hit with the side of the Me-262 was not profitable because it was simply masterful to keep the machine from the bottom and from the top too, I think they were beating in the forehead in the front less in the back because the speed is high and he often flew past off the court, we can conclude that the car was most likely wrecked in the front forehead and at such outcome of events all falls into place if the shells exploded in the cockpit then some of the fragments apparently were absorbed into the engine and part of the body of the machine think that the pilot was wounded it by a shell fragment , and not by the projectile ,the question of survivability ,I saw an interview of a doctor who bandaged the wounded 12.7 mm bullet from BМG BARET 50 CAL hole was the guy 5 CM IN the lung and he has long been conscious of a shock !

The Rheinmetall Borsig mk.108 Auto Cannon fired a 30mm Shell at the rate of 650 rpm. The Me-262 had 4 of those. If one of those shells were to hit a human being, they would explode to pieces. A bit of an inaccuracy but I'm just nit picking.

Вы правы пушка на Me-262 была 30 ММ ставили как правило фугасные и зажигательные снаряды огонь из нее очень плотный но это при условии что машина не будет совершить резких маневров а управляемость у Me-262 была не очень и его могло сильно швырять это я к тому что бить с боку Me-262 было не выгодно потому как нужно было просто мастерски держать машину с низу и с верху тоже думаю они били в лоб спереди реже сзади потому как скорость высокая и он часто пролетал мимо от суда можно сделать вывод что машина была подбита скорее всего в лоб спереди а при таком исходе событий все встает на свои места если снаряды взорвались у кабины то часть осколков по всей видимости была поглащена двигателем а часть корпусом самой машины думаю что пилот был ранен именно осколком снаряда , а не самим снарядом ,к вопросу о живучести ,я видел интервью доктора который перевязывал раненого 12,7 мм пуля от BARET BМG 50 CAL дыра была у парня 5 СМ В легком и он ещё долго был в сознании , может от шока !
