For some reason all these songs like this remind me of or seem to stem from the old Def Lep song "Wasted" dada DA , dada DA , dada DA , dada DA 🤔 yep. & that's an old song now days. Nice guitar though 👍👍

What is the purpose of the 7 string when the other guitarist uses a 6 string?

He just likes to play on a 7-string. But on most Sabaton songs he plays the lower parts and the other guitarist plays 1 octave higher. Occasionally he will use the low B string for example if the other guitarist plays a D5 chord on the 5th fret of the A string, he will play the D5 chord on the 3rd fret of the B string
