Mar Ko I remember seeing an ad for that Toklein moive I can’t remember the name of the weapon, but it was basucally a gaint flamethrower. Believe it was made by the British and used in the battle of the Somme. Watched a Time Team episode where they located and excavated one that was incomplete and abandoned due to a tunnel collapse. Very interesting. ANYWAYS In the clip in the trailer, they showed that weapon sweeping across the screen. The contrast was very high so the background of the trenches was hard to see. So at first when you saw the shot you would see a fire breathing dragon. Then your eye would process the background. It was a only 5 seconds long but it was framed BEAUTIFULLY. You saw that weapon spraying fire and you saw Smaug. Really regret that I didn’t watch the movie...

And yet, this war created the basis for WW2 leading to even more tragedy, pain and death. They fought believing in these lies and in the end contributed to the exact opposite. In that sense, the part where Jocke sings "November 11th settling the score [...] A new world will dawn from empires fallen, the end of the war to end wars." gets me everytime. The beginning of the songs is one of the only rock songs to make a man and or woman shed a tear. God bless the lives of every Serbian, Austrian Russian, German, American, British, Indian, Australian, Turkish, french,Italy , Bulgarian, Romanian , Canada. And the world along with it. No matter your side, your empire, your home, countless lives we're lost, for a cause that would never be achieved as far as the eye can see. No matter your race. Ethnic group, millions of deaths. Millions of lives lost forever. Never to been seen except on the tombstone and dirt and soil the lie upon and in. God bless us all for how lucky we are in the age of information and most peaceful and prosperous age. You may beg to differ but you can't change one fact. Our boys don't fight in trenches with diseases and many other things. The barbed wired. The thousands of countless deaths just to gain less than a mile of land. Yet again. God bless all who died for a similar cause. The war to end all wars. Boys and men alike who thought they'd be back by Christmas, forever lost. Always remember. Thousands of millions of all men, woman alike. God bless America, Great Britain, France Russia, Germany, Austria, Bulgarian, Romanian, Serbia, Italy. Faction doesn't matter. Men. Millions of them. Died in one of the most horrific 4 years war those men and boys alike will experience. Lost in the soil and tombstones of their graves. No matter your beliefs of any kind. Everyone pays the price. Forever will they be lost to a war that was supposed to end before Christmas. To a war that was supposedly an adventure to young boys alike. "War knows no nation." A world. ruined. By a horrible, deadly, horrific war. May we everladtingly be lucky to be alive today. God bless all Humans alike.

Going to listen to this song after watching the last episode of Season 7 of The Clone Wars. It's basically the in universe equivalent of World War I in Star Wars.

This is just Beautiful ,it sent the scene of one of the most Horrific wars in human history. (May those who die in that war always be remembered “Last We Forget”)

"Least we forget" and tragically if you ask a regular American about WWI they will give you a zombie stare and walk away, not because they are shocked at the memory of it but because they never heard about it and they don't care. I am convinced that 80% of my fellow Americans are on opiods because they act like it.

By far the best song on this album, and arguably one of their all time bests.
