Watched extra history’s siege of Vienna. Saw all the comments were about this song. This was the next logical step and I could not be more happy.

Perfect, this is how I imagined a supercut of Helm’s Deep with Winged Hussars. Each hook hits perfect with a hero’s scene and sends shivers. Well done.

It makes sense since Tolkien took inspiration for the battle for Helms Deep and Minas Tirith from the battle they sing about in this song and the Rohirim was also inspired by the Winged Hussars

@@DraconimLt interesting because many battles was bigger, for example under 1st, 2nd, 3rd crusade, if we talk about europe battle on grunwald fields had bigger "cavalery" charge, other way we can say something its bigger when its more destroying. for example winged hussars had many battle where they met enemies even 10times stronger or more. the higgest known diffrence between husars and their enemies its 1:100+ (dont known real number of enemies) battle was won, or maybe for example when winged hussars destroy russian army and capture russian's capital city? or maybe battle under "chocim", battle of kiriholm (or how to spell it?).

Hail to the Winged Hussars! Legendary even to Greece! The orcs represent the turkish mongol hordes perfectly! If only we had 10000 hussars in 1453 Costantinople would still be free.

Why didn't you choose the "Ride of the Rohirim" scene were Tolkien himself said it was heavily influenced by the Polish charge to liberate Vienna?😄

Because the battle is much closer to the battle of vienna. They even set explosives at the wall like in the real battle

Am i the only one who sees someone with pointy ears using a shield as a skateboard and shooting arrows at goblin things and immediately thinks: "Link!"
@fredfry5100 Жыл бұрын
Admittedly, yes. Link using sheilds as a surfboard is a very recent thing. He couldn't do that in most of his iterations. it's actually of of Legolas's defining moments, before Link could sheild surf. For timing sake, these movies came out during the WindWaker era.
