This is for you mr Jennings. "For verily I say unto you, Till heaven and earth pass, one jot or one tittIe shall in no wise pass from the law, till all be fulfilled". Matthew 5:18. A Jot is something quickly written, and a Tittle is a tiny amount or part of something. So YESHUA is plainly, Not even a tiny part of the Law is to be considered as insignificant.

Nicodemus went to Jesus and asked Him what must I do to gain eternal life...Jesus said "You must be born again." In the Old Testament to get to heaven one had to keep the law...which was faulty...that is another of the great reasons Jesus came was to fulfill the law die and send back the Comforter. And you cant keep the law anyway. If your going to keep the law you have to dot every "i" and cross every "t" because if you are living under the law...you need a Levite to enter into the Holy of Holiest for you; to be forgiven you need unblemished blood of goats and sheep, and many other things do you need to do to live under the law. Because if any choose to live under the law...that requires many more things than the 10 commandments and the sabbath day accomendations. Go read your bible and find out what living under the law consist of. Because you have to do it all..God was very very strict about that...you have to observe it all...or the little stuff you are doing concerning the law and the sabbath is in vain. @JUST MYOPINION Hold on when did God ever call the commandments of moses 'My Law' The 600 plus commandments you refer to were ceremonial and civil laws not the Moral law which is based on God's own character. When will people see that the 2 Laws are clearly of a different Nature. So many texts point to what God calls His commandments and those pertaining to the governance of Israel are cold Moses's law David said Thy Law have I hid in my heart that I might not sin against Thee. Pastor Gino is completely in error to say that Jesus the unblemished lamb of God broke the Sabbath commandment. Jesus kept all the commandments and did not sin. He was wounded for our transgressions not His own... smh. Slick talker but no question he is completely wrong.

Unless Jesus was teaching through his action that 'breaking' the sabbath isn't such a big deal. David did what was unlawful for him by eating the consecrated bread which were only for the priests, but David and his companions were declared innocent. Jesus is comparing one unlawful act (by David) with the unlawful act of picking the grain. The main point is both parties are innocent, therefore, breaking the sabbath is really not a big deal if Jesus himself makes the declaration of innocence to those who break the sabbath. By this, this would mean that Jesus didn't 'break' the sabbath thus becoming a sinner, no, breaking the sabbath didn't alter the sinless state of Jesus. 'Breaking' the sabbath doesn’t carry a penalty under the new covenant.

Breaking the Sabbath is a big deal according to God. Jesus did not sin therefore He kept it correctly... 1 John 3: 5 And ye know that he was manifested to take away our sins; and in him is no sin. 6 Whosoever abideth in him sinneth not: whosoever sinneth hath not seen him, neither known him. The sunset at various times in certain countries, So in Trinidad, the sun will set in November 22, 5:42 pm, but will set in Ukraine 4:05 pm, and Sydney Australia 7:42 pm. The rest that the writer of the book of Hebrews was speaking of is simply true saving faith in the finished works of Jesus Christ through His death and Resurrection. You simple cannot take a physical observance from the old into the new and it still remain physical. The Sabbath is a physical rest. Christ is your spiritual rest. Its no longer about a day but your ultimate rest in christ who has died for our sins. Sabbath keepers keep pushing the propaganda that because you don't observe a sabbath you are following man. If a person treats Sunday as his Sabbath then he is just as wrong. Its not about the day. It is about the heart to do things on your own accord by the heart and not just to follow a command to be justified. Thus Jesus doesn't specifically have to say everything otherwise the Bible would be much larger in size to contain all words of His and situations He was in. The 10 Commandments represent the perfect expression of God in the Person of Jesus Christ - it's not possible that God is a 9 tenths God to obey, but obviously a 10 out of 10 God. Obeying only 9 would mean that God is not perfect and that we do not need to be perfect, yet Jesus said we must.

I agree with the Jamaican preacher. In Matthew chapter 19 verse 16 he mention 6 Commandments which love the Lord thy God was not in the six that was mentioned. But if the other verse she included love the Lord thy God with all thy heart which Jesus did not mention in Matthew 19 verse 16-20. That's why God instructed Ezekiel to eat the whole roll of the word of God. You cannot go around cherry picking with scripture but you have to read all of it.
