Deputy President Paul Mashatile collapsed on the podium while addressing Nwamitwa Day in Tzaneen in Limpopo and was rushed to a local hospital.
Limpopo Premier Dr Phophi Ramathuba says it could have been due to dehydration.
She says the deputy president does not have any underlying medical conditions.

Elderly people, Critically ill patients who can't voluntarily take fluids, babies get dehydrated! A normal, well 72 kg adult will never collapse from dehydration nje. U Popi is an embarrassment to the MEDUNSA physiology department. The DP collapsed! There's a medical reason behind this and it's certainly not dehydration.
