The rand did not strengthen against dollar, is dollar that went low against all currencies. There are high possibilities that in due time, the dollar will regain the strength against other currencies, possibly going back to R19

GNU means that the anc will no longer take accountability for any poor service delivery. They've given the hot potato portfolios like DHA, Infrastructure, to the DA to sort out the mess so that they don't feel the heat. Even the Fighters have fallen for the trick of constantly fighting with Gayton over petty issues instead of holding the anc to account. This GNU is working wonders for the anc.
