This is really sad. The government and the outgoing companies, should have negotiatee with the new companies to swallow the existing employees or some od them. Proper of government employees and leadership who are given positions, but can think outside of the box. For the unscrupulous security companies who didn't pay UIF and provident funds, I hope organised labour movements will take them to court on behalf of these employees. Department of labour need to play its role.
