The first day they appeared in court, which was on the 26th of October 2020 ( isn't that weird?) they protested but no one was willing to listen to them. This is the first time since their arrest that they have been given a chance to give their version. So, it's not weird at all. Actually, there are witnesses on the defence side who will come and collaborate their version because all along we've been hearing evidence from the state's side.
