The real question we should be asking is: 'What has the government been doing all these years?' These allocated funds were not intended to be depleted this quickly. If our government wasn't driven by greed, they would have invested in building local pharmacies to manufacture our own medication. Where did all that money go? They can't claim there's a shortage of pharmacists when many qualified individuals are unemployed. Blaming President Trump and the United States is misguided. While their policies may have had some impact, our own government's inaction is the primary reason for our current predicament. We need to be honest with ourselves and acknowledge that our government has failed us, and their inaction is now putting lives at risk.
