South Africa has a new government The GNU ... The time for talk and promises are over our people are devastated as we speak, first off the flood victims need to be attended to asap no delays,school starts tomorrow and no government officials have given the people the necessary assistance and resources to help rebuild their lives. Second something need to be done at (Nersa )to help poor and working class citizens who pay for their electricity to get value for the money they pay to buy electricity a R50 gets you a measly 14.00 units while a R10 equals 3.8 units. This is a serious issue that needs immediate attention and intervention by our local and national government. The minister of electricity said something i hope the leaders elected himself included should hear. "Theirs food on the shelves but people do not have the money to go and buy the food that they need". This is the current situation where citizens that citizens of SouthAfrica face on a daily its a disgrace. The government of national unity and its leadership need to act or the people will rise up. You cannot feed a hungry and desperate person with promises...citizens are beyond that point they need real solutions to their everyday struggles.

People in the informal settlements I feel for the most, it's totally inhumane to live like this while's the country has enough money to accommodate the people, especially with this new elected government whereby there is already a budget concerning housing and infrastructure. Just hope and pray they will assist the people instead of corruption
